    The Ireland women's cricket team were scheduled to play the Scotland women's cricket team in Spain in November 2020. The tour would have consisted of two 50-over matches and three Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is). All of the matches would have been played at the La Manga Club in Cartagena, played behind closed doors, due to COVID-19 restrictions. Shortly before the scheduled tour, the Spanish government had increased restrictions in the country due to a second wave of the virus. Both teams and the match officials were scheduled to stay in the same hotel in a secure bio-environment.

    The New Zealand cricket team toured in July 2022 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches and a single One Day International (ODI). The matches were all played at The Grange Club in Edinburgh. The fixtures in Scotland made up the third leg of New Zealand's tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland, following a Test series in England and limited overs fixtures in Ireland.

    The Afghanistan cricket team toured Scotland in July 2016 to play two One Day Internationals (ODIs) matches at The Grange, Edinburgh. Both matches were affected by rain, with the first match being washed out. Afghanistan won the second match and took the series 1–0.

    The Australia cricket team visited Scotland on 3 September 2013 for a one-match One Day International series against the Scotland cricket team at Grange Cricket Club Ground, Raeburn Place, Edinburgh. The match served as a warm-up for Australia ahead of their five-match ODI series against England later in the month. Australia won the match by 200 runs.

    The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Scotland in June 2017 to play two One Day International (ODI) matches. Both matches were played at The Grange Club, Edinburgh. It was the first bilateral series between the two teams. In the first match, Scotland beat Zimbabwe on the back of a Kyle Coetzer century, recording their first win in an ODI against a Test playing nation. The series finished 1–1, with Zimbabwe winning the second match by 6 wickets.
