Stefani Hidajat (born August 12, 1985 in Surabaya, East Java) is a female Indonesian writer. She grew up in Surabaya and Jakarta, Indonesia. Stefani Hid attended Petra Christian University majoring in English Literature. She completed her master's degree at University of Münster and currently resides in Munich, Germany Stefani has been absent from her home country Indonesia and living in Germany for more than 10 years.

Laksmi Shari De-Neefe Suardana (Balinese: ᬮᬓ᭄ᬱ᭄ᬫᬶᬰᬭᬶᬤᬾᬦᬾᬏᬧ᬴ᬾᬲᬸᬯᬃᬤᬦ), simply known as Laksmi De-Neefe Suardana, is an Indonesian fashion designer, author, UNICEF activist, 2022 G20 Ambassador, co-founder of Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2022. Suardana is the first representative from Bali and first Hindu women to ever be crowned Puteri Indonesia. She will represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2022.

Putu Ayu Saraswati (Balinese: ᬧᬸᬢᬸᬅᬬᬸᬲᬭᬲ᭄ᬯᬢᬶ; born July 6, 1997) is an Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Ambassador, doctor, fashion model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the title of Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2020. She is Known for her work #SangGuruKehidupan in advocating for elderly care and free healthcare programs. Saraswati is the second delegate from Bali to ever be crowned Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan after Ayu Diandra Sari Tjakra in 2009. She will represent Indonesia at the Miss International 2021 pageant.

Soeman Hasibuan (Perfected Spelling: Suman Hasibuan; 4 April 1904 – 8 May 1999) better known by his pen name Soeman Hs, was an Indonesian author recognized for pioneering detective fiction and short story writing in the country's literature. Born in Bengkalis, Riau, Dutch East Indies, to a family of farmers, Soeman studied to become a teacher and, under the author Mohammad Kasim [id], a writer. He began working as a Malay-language teacher after completing normal school in 1923, first in Siak Sri Indrapura, Aceh, then in Pasir Pengaraian, Rokan Hulu, Riau. Around this time he began writing, publishing his first novel, Kasih Tak Terlarai, in 1929. In twelve years he published five novels, one short story collection, and thirty-five short stories and poems.

Rain Chudori-Soerjoatmodjo (born November 10, 1994) is an Indonesian writer, curator, screenwriter, multidisciplinary artist, and actress. She is the daughter of the writer Leila Chudori and curator Yudhi Soerjoatmodjo, and granddaughter of the journalist Muhammad Chudori. She has been published since she was 14 years old. She is the founder and curator of Comma Books, a division in Penerbit KPG (Kompas Gramedia).

Brigadier General Raden Panji Nugroho Notosusanto (15 July 1930 – 3 June 1985) was an Indonesian short story writer turned military historian who served as professor of history at the University of Indonesia. Born to a noble family in Central Java, he exhibited a high degree of nationalism from a young age. During the Indonesian National Revolution from 1945 to 1949 he saw active service as a member of the Student Army, working reconnaissance. Despite wanting to remain in the military, under influence by his father he continued his education, eventually enrolling in the faculty of literature at the University of Indonesia. During the 1950s he wrote extensively and was active in numerous political and academic groups, finally graduating with a degree in history in 1958.

Mochtar Lubis (7 March 1922 – 2 July 2004) was an Indonesian Batak journalist and novelist who co-founded Indonesia Raya and monthly literary magazine "Horison". His novel Senja di Jakarta (Twilight in Jakarta in English) was the first Indonesian novel to be translated into English. He was a critic of Sukarno and was imprisoned by him.

Pramoedya Ananta Toer (EYD: Pramudya Ananta Tur) (6 February 1925 – 30 April 2006) was an Indonesian author of novels, short stories, essays, polemics and histories of his homeland and its people. His works span the colonial period under Dutch rule, Indonesia's struggle for independence, its occupation by Japan during the Second World War, as well as the post-colonial authoritarian regimes of Sukarno and Suharto, and are infused with personal and national history.

Injo Beng Goat (Chinese: 杨明月, 1902-62) was a Chinese Indonesian journalist, lawyer, and political activist of the late Dutch East Indies and early independence era in Indonesia. He was editor-in-chief of Keng Po, one of the largest newspapers of the early independence period, until 1958.

Dewa Ayu Carma Citrawati (born 24 February 1990 in Denpasar) is an Indonesian short story writer, Balinese literature activist and Wikimedian. She is well known for pioneering tasks to digitize and translate ancient Balinese manuscripts which have been written on palm leaves. On 15 August 2021, she was conferred with the title Wikimedian Newcomer of the Year during the 2021 virtual Wikimania conference.
