Khatta Meetha (transl. Sour and Sweet) is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language satirical comedy drama film written and directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Dhilin Mehta and Twinkle Khanna under Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Limited and Hari Om Entertainment.A remake of Priyadarshan's previous 1988 Malayalam film Vellanakalude Nadu (1988), scripted by Sreenivasan, the film stars Akshay Kumar and debutante Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, while Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Aruna Irani, Urvashi Sharma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Manoj Joshi, Milind Gunaji, Rajpal Yadav, Neeraj Vora, Vijay Maurya, Asrani and Johnny Lever feature in supporting roles. The story follows Sachin Tichkule, a struggling contractor whose failure in making peace with the corrupt bureaucracy in town as well as strained relation with his ex-girlfriend and his family leads to misadventures that deprive him of his closest relations. However, as he begins to mend his ways, justice comes knocking on his door.

Badmaash Company (transl.) is a 2010 Indian crime comedy film directed by actor-turned-director Parmeet Sethi and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang. The film was released on 7 May 2010 under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The movie was a commercial success at the box office.

Jannat (transl.) is a 2008 Indian crime romance film directed by Kunal Deshmukh, and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The film stars Emraan Hashmi opposite Sonal Chauhan in lead roles. It released on 16 May 2008 and was a huge success worldwide, receiving positive response from critics and managing to do well at the box office.

Gangs of Wasseypur is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language two-part gangster action crime film produced and directed by Anurag Kashyap, and written by Kashyap and Zeishan Quadri. Centered on the coal mafia (Mafia Raj) of Dhanbad, and the underlying power struggles, politics and vengeance between three crime families, the film has an ensemble cast, with Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi and Tigmanshu Dhulia in the major roles. Its story spans 68 years from 1941 to 2009.

Rang De Basanti (transl.) is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language drama film written, produced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and co-written by Rensil D'Silva.

Murder is a 2004 Indian Hindi erotic romantic thriller film, directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. It is the first installment in the Murder film series. It stars Emraan Hashmi, Ashmit Patel and Mallika Sherawat in the lead roles and is set in Bangkok, Thailand. This film is based on the 2002 American film Unfaithful, which itself was also inspired by a French film The Unfaithful Wife (1969).

Gumrah is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film directed by Mahesh Bhatt in a screenplay written by Sujit Sen and Robin Bhatt. The film stars Sridevi, Sanjay Dutt, and Rahul Roy .

Badal (transl.) is a 2000 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by Raj Kanwar. The film stars Bobby Deol and Rani Mukerji in lead roles. The movie is inspired by The Devil's Own, starring Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt. It was a critical and commercial success.

Aan: Men At Work is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Madhur Bhandarkar featuring Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Shatrughan Sinha and Paresh Rawal in the leading roles, while Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Om Puri, Rahul Dev, Manoj Joshi and Irrfan Khan played supporting roles. It was released on 4 June 2004.

Dilwale (transl. The big hearted) is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language romantic action comedy film produced by Gauri Khan and directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is distributed by Red Chillies Entertainment. The film's dialogue was written by Sajid-Farhad and the soundtrack was composed by Pritam. It stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in their seventh film together alongside Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
