John Tavares (born September 20, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected first overall by the New York Islanders in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, where he spent nine seasons and served as captain for five seasons.

Eric Cairns (born June 27, 1974) is a Canadian former ice hockey defenceman and current director of player development for the New York Islanders. His last season (2006) was with the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL.

Andong "Misha" Song (Chinese: 宋安东; born January 31, 1997) is a Chinese former ice hockey player. Song is notable for being the first Mainland Chinese-born hockey player to be drafted in the National Hockey League (NHL). Song was drafted in the sixth round, 172nd overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders.

Scott Wilson (born April 24, 1992 in Oakville, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has also played with the Pittsburgh Penguins, with whom he earned two Stanley Cup championships, and briefly with the Detroit Red Wings.

Steve Mason (born May 29, 1988) is a Canadian professional goaltender who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He was selected 69th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Playing major junior in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Mason spent three seasons with the London Knights and Kitchener Rangers. In the 2006–07 season, he was named OHL Goaltender of the Year. He joined the Blue Jackets in 2008–09 and won the Calder Memorial Trophy as rookie of the year. Internationally, he won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2008 World Junior Championships while earning tournament MVP and Best Goaltender honours.

Victor Edward Hadfield (born October 4, 1940) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played sixteen years in the National Hockey League (NHL), spending thirteen with the New York Rangers and three with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Brianne Alexandra Jenner (born May 4, 1991) is a Canadian ice hockey player and a member of Canada's national women's hockey team. She made her debut for the team at the 2010 Four Nations Cup and won a gold medal. She was also a member of the Cornell Big Red women's ice hockey program.
