Chinese Restaurant (simplified Chinese: 中餐厅; traditional Chinese: 中餐廳; pinyin: Zhōngcāntīng) is a Chinese celebrity reality show broadcast by Hunan Television. The show features five celebrities as they run a chinese restaurant abroad in 20 days with the aim to promote Chinese Food culture. It's Vicky Zhao's first reality show as a regular guest.

Up Idol (simplified Chinese: 偶像来了; traditional Chinese: 偶像來了; pinyin: Ǒuxiàng Láile; 'The Idols are Coming') is a Chinese celebrity reality show broadcast on Hunan Television. The first season debuted on 1 August 2015 with 12 episodes featuring two captains and ten popular celebrities as they travel to different places and experience the Chinese culture. The program was relaunched in 2016. The Chinese title was changed to We are Coming (simplified Chinese: 我们来了; traditional Chinese: 我們來了; pinyin: Wǒmen Láile) though the official English title remains unchanged as Up Idol. The second season debuted on 22 July 2016 with 12 episodes. The third season debuted on 4 August 2017 with 12 episodes.

Number One Surprise is a Chinese comedy variety show television series developed by Jason Goldberg and produced by STXtelevision and XG Entertainment. It premiered on Hunan TV, Mango TV and PPTV on 21 November 2016. It had almost 300 million viewers on its premiere and, as of January 2017, was the most watched program on Hunan TV. It was cancelled after 4 episodes on TV and went straight to online only broadcast.

Day Day Up (Chinese: 天天向上; pinyin: Tiāntiān xiàngshàng) is a popular Chinese talk show broadcast on Hunan Television. The show is co-hosted by Wang Han (汪涵), Da Zhangwei (大张伟), Qian Feng (钱枫), and Wang Yibo (王一博). It has drawn great attention from the public, especially student groups and other young people, for its humor, style, and the public figures who appear as guests.

Super Boy or Happy Boy (simplified Chinese: 快乐男声; traditional Chinese: 快樂男聲; pinyin: Kuàilè Nánshēng; literally "Happy Boys") was a Chinese singing contest for male contestants. It was organized by Hunan Satellite Television in 2007, as a spin-off of its popular Super Girl series. It's a talent show which aims at uncovering talented tomorrow new male stars.

Draw the Line (traditional Chinese: 底線; simplified Chinese: 底线; pinyin: Dǐxiàn) is a Chinese television series directed by Liu Guotong, starring leads Jin Dong, Cheng Yi, and Cai Wenjing, and featuring Wang Xiuzhu, Wang Shasha, Wang Fang, Wu Chao in prominent supporting roles. The series aired on Hunan Satellite TV from September 19, 2022 to October 11, 2022. and was broadcast simultaneously on Mango TV and iQiyi.

Back to Field (Chinese: 向往的生活; pinyin: Xiàngwǎng de shēnghuó) is a Chinese reality show on Hunan TV. The show documents the simplistic lifestyle of living away from the bustling city centers.

In 2008 and 2010, Hunan Satellite Television produced the Chinese version of 1 vs. 100, which has the same name as the Hong Kong version, called 以一敌百 (literally translated "to oppose 100 people by 1 person"). The first season was aired between March 5 and July 31, 2008 and the second season was premiered on April 15, 2010 and ended on December 23, 2010. The Inn (Chinese: 亲爱的·客栈) is a Chinese variety show aired on Hunan Broadcasting Station. In the variety show, a couple will manage an inn with a company of friends as guest for 20 days. The Inn shared the same production team with another variety show by Hunan Broadcasting System, Divas Hits The Road.

Baike Quanshuo is a Chinese variety show produced by Hunan Broadcasting System. The series debuted on November 30, 2009. The show was hosted by Xie Na (until February 8, 2010) and Li Weijia. It was broadcast every Monday through Thursday at 7:30 pm. After Xie Na left the show, she was replaced by Fang Qiong.
