Guatemalan race walkers

Erick Bernabé Barrondo García (born 14 June 1991) is a Guatemalan racewalker who competes in the 20 km walk and 50 km walk events. He won the silver medal at the Men's 20km Racewalk in the 2012 Summer Olympics, the first Olympic medal in Guatemala's history.

Julio René Martínez Sicán (born 27 September 1973) is a Guatemalan race walker.

Mirna Sucely Ortiz Flores (born 28 February 1987) is a Guatemalan racewalker.

Mayra Carolina Herrera Pérez (born 20 December 1988 in Guatemala City) is a Guatemalan race walker. She competed in the 20 km kilometres event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Olympics.

José María Raymundo Cox (born 1 September 1993) is a male Guatemalan racewalker. He competed in the 20 kilometres walk event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, China. In 2019, he competed in the men's 20 kilometres walk at the 2019 World Athletics Championships held in Doha, Qatar. He did not finish his race.

Maritza Poncio (born 3 December 1994) is a female racewalker from Guatemala. She competed in the Women's 20 kilometres walk event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, China.

Teresita Natvidad Collado Ramos (born 20 November 1971 in Chinique, El Quiché) is a retired Guatemalan athlete specialising in the race walking. She represented her country at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics.

Evelyn Rosmeri Núñez Fuentes (born April 9, 1971 in Guatemala City) is a female Guatemalan race walker. In 2006, she set a personal best time of 46:19.48 by winning the silver medal at the Ibero-American Championships in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She is also the mother of Jamy Franco, who ended the nation's 56-year drought by taking the race walk title at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Jaime Daniel Quiyuch Castañeda (born 24 April 1988 in Guatemala City) is a Guatemalan race walker. He competed in the 50 kilometres walk event at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics.

Jamy Amarilis Franco Núñez (born 1 July 1991) is a Guatemalan race walker. Cuban coach Rigoberto Medina has worked with her since 2010.
