The Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan, also known as the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz: Жогорку Кеңеш), is the unicameral parliament of Kyrgyzstan. Before Kyrgyzstan's independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, it was known as the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance (Kyrgyz: Экономика жана финансы министрлиги, Russian: Министерство экономики и финансов) is the Kyrgyz government ministry which oversees the public finances of Kyrgyzstan. It was formed from a merge of the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Finance after a government reshuffle on 12 February 2021.

The Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy (Kyrgyz: Маданият, маалымат, спорт жана жаштар саясаты министрлиги, Madaniyat, maalymat, sport jana jashtar sayasaty ministrligi), previously known as the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, is the ministry in charge of preservation and promotion of Kyrgyzstani culture in the republic and abroad.

The Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan is a Kyrgyz government ministry tasked with developing the judicial system in Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz: Кыргыз Республикасынын Өзгөчө кырдаалдар министрлиги, Russian: Министерство по чрезвычайным ситуациям Кыргызстана) is a special ministry in Kyrgyzstan dedicated to the response of natural disasters such as earthquakes or landslides or serious accidents. The current emergencies minister is Boobek Ajikeev.

The chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, formerly known as the prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, chairs the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The president of Kyrgyzstan, officially the president of the Kyrgyz Republic, is the head of state and head of government of the Kyrgyz Republic. The president directs the executive branch of the national government, is the commander-in-chief of the Kyrgyz military and also heads the National Security Council.

The National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic is the legal deposit and copyright agency for Kyrgyzstan. It was founded in 1934. It has a collection of 6 million documents in 89 languages from around the world. Since 2005 the head of the Kyrgyz National Library is Dr. Jyldyz Bakashova. According to the website, some of the primary functions of the National Library in Kyrgyzstan are “preserving the cultural wealth and traditions of the peoples of our country, collecting and accumulating human knowledge.”

The Community Security Initiative (CSI) (Russian: Инициатива общественной безопасности) was a project of the OSCE in Kyrgyzstan that aimed to help the country's police in their activities. The project was established following the 2010 South Kyrgyzstan ethnic clashes. The main objective of the CSI was "to increase the respect for and protection of human rights by the police and to build confidence between law enforcement agencies and communities including through the promotion of multi-ethnic policing."

The Ministry of Education and Science (Kyrgyz: Кыргыз Республикасынын Билим берүү жана илим министрлиги, Russian: Министерство образования и науки Киргизской Республики) of Kyrgyzstan is the ministry of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic charged with regulating and promoting the educational and scientific work in the country. The ministry is the main governmental authority overseeing the quality of education, the acquisition of knowledge by students, and the development of a comprehensive national education system. As the direct successor of the People's Commissariat of Education of the Kirghiz Autonomous Socialist Soviet Republic, established in 1927, the ministry is one of the oldest state institutions of Kyrgyzstan.
