    Eastern Star Baptist Church was a historic Baptist church located at Church and Wagner Streets in Tarboro, Edgecombe County, North Carolina. The church was built about 1875, and was a one-story, Carpenter Gothic style building. It was built by a Presbyterian congregation, then moved to its final location and used by the African-American Eastern Star Baptist Church starting in 1906. It has been demolished.

    The Church of the Good Shepherd is a historic Episcopal church in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. The congregation branched off of Christ Episcopal Church in 1874, making it the second oldest Episcopal parish in Raleigh. It is part of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina and served as the Pro-cathedral church of the diocese in the mid-1890s.

    St. Peter’s Catholic Church is a Catholic parish church at 507 South Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. Established in 1851, it is the oldest Catholic church in Charlotte, and until 1940 was the only Catholic church in the city. St. Peter's was originally at the extreme southern limits of the city, but today it stands in the heart of uptown, across from the Mint Museum and Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and next to The Green. It is most likely the oldest surviving edifice on Tryon Street.

It was built in 1871, and is a one-story, three bay by three bay, Gothic Revival style brick chapel. It features a three-stage red-painted wooden entrance tower with a concave pyramidal roof.

    Trinity Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located in Mount Airy, Surry County, North Carolina. It was built in 1896, and is a one-story, Gothic Revival-style masonry structure of uncoarsed granite rubble, locally sourced and donated by parishioner Thomas Woodruff, president of the North Carolina Granite Corporation at that time. The first service in the new building was held in July of 1896. Trinity was consecrated on October 13, 1900, and was dedicated to “…the Worship and Service of Almighty God, the administration of His Holy Sacraments, the Reading and Preaching of His Holy Word, and for the performance of All Holy Offices” by the Bishop of North Carolina, the Rt. Reverend Joseph Blount Cheshire. The main block of the church measures 20 feet by 50 feet. It has a small gable narthex and features lancet windows. It is the oldest church building in Mount Airy.

    Mount Zion Baptist Church is a historic African-American Baptist church located at 413 N. Church Street in Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina. The sanctuary was built in 1907, and is a red brick Gothic Revival style building. It features stained glass lancet windows and small triangular shaped windows and former towers capped by octagonal conical roofs. A brick-veneered educational/manse wing added between 1913 and 1920.

    First Baptist Church was a historic Southern Baptist church located at 401 S. Scales Street in Reidsville, Rockingham County, North Carolina. It was built in 1918, and was a Late Gothic Revival style brick church. It has a three bay wide front facade with crenellated towers of unequal height and a three-part tracery stained glass window. It was home to an African-American Baptist congregation until the mid-1970s.

    St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and Churchyard is a historic Episcopal church located on St. Mary's Road, Hillsborough, Orange County, North Carolina. The first three bays of the Gothic Revival-style brick church were built between 1825 and 1826, and its rear was extended by another bay in 1868. It features a square entrance tower built in 1830, which was rebuilt in 1850. The tower has a pyramidal spire and lancet windows. The brickwork was laid in Flemish bond.

    First Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at 200 W. Trade Street in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was built in 1857, and is a one-story, Gothic Revival style stuccoed brick building. The original spire was rebuilt in 1883-1884 and the side and rear walls of the church were taken down and a new structure was erected in 1894-1895.
