Sky News is a British free-to-air television news channel and organisation. Sky News is distributed via a radio news service, and through online channels. It is owned by Sky, a division of Comcast. John Ryley is the head of Sky News, a role he has held since June 2006. Sky News is currently Royal Television Society News Channel of the Year, the 12th time it has held the award.

Free-to-air (FTA) are television (TV) and radio services broadcast in clear (unencrypted) form, allowing any person with the appropriate receiving equipment to receive the signal and view or listen to the content without requiring a subscription, other ongoing cost, or one-off fee (e.g., Pay-per-view). In the traditional sense, this is carried on terrestrial radio signals and received with an antenna.

MBC 3 is an Emirati free-to-air children's channel that was launched on 8 December 2004 by the Middle East Broadcasting Center, and appeals to children from 3 to 13 years old. Disney, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, Cbeebies BBC and Anime series are focuses on broadcasting foreign animated shows dubbed in Arabic, as well as producing its own original programming.

Rai Gulp is an Italian free-to-air television channel aimed towards kids. It is owned and operated by Italian State-owned broadcaster RAI.

Cartoon Network Arabic (Arabic: كرتون نتورك بالعربية‎) is a Pan-Arab free-to-air children's television channel that is broadcast for a pan-Arab audience in the Middle East and North Africa region (excluding Israel, Iran, Turkey and Cyprus), and it is one of two Arabic-language versions of Cartoon Network, the other being an HD pay TV channel on beIN and additional providers called Cartoon Network MENA which is available in both English and Arabic. The channel was launched on 10 October 2010 at 10:10 AM GST, with the channel's launch coinciding with the opening of Turner Broadcasting System Europe's offices in Dubai Media City. As of 2019, it’s managed by Warner Bros. through its Middle East unit.

MBC 2 is an Emirati free-to-air movie channel released on 12 January 2003. On its debut, it broadcast movies and television programmes subtitled in Arabic, but after the launch of MBC 4 the channel specialised in movies only. The channel is based in Dubai Media City, United Arab Emirates, and is owned by the Saudi broadcaster MBC Group. The channel mostly broadcasts American Hollywood movies but it also seldom features British, Canadian, French, Indian, Chinese and other foreign films. MBC 2 has managed to negotiate long-term deals with the top Hollywood studios, securing first-run right and ensuring a steady flow of the top box-office movies.

TV2000 is an Italy-based broadcasting network that carries Roman Catholic-themed programming, available on digital terrestrial television in Italy and owned by the Italian Episcopal Conference.

MBC 4 is an Emirati free-to-air television channel targeted towards women and teenagers. It broadcasts Western TV shows in addition to some locally-produced productions. It was launched on 1 February 2005 at 5:00 P.M. (GMT).

Rai Radio 1 (Radio Uno) is an Italian radio channel operated by the state-owned public-broadcasting organization RAI and specializing in news, sports, talk programmes, and popular music.

m2o is Italy's main 24-hour electronic music radio station, owned by the Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso. It was founded in 2002. The station plays dance, EDM, trance, techno, house and sometimes urban music, among various others.
