Lamitta Frangieh (Arabic: لاميتا فرنجية‎), (born 15 November 1980 in Zgharta, Lebanon) is a Lebanese actress, former beauty pageant contestant and fashion model.

Suleiman Bey Frangieh (Arabic: سليمان بك فرنجية‎; born 18 October 1965) is the current leader of the Marada Movement and a former Member of Parliament for the Maronite seat of Zgharta-Zawyie, in North Lebanon.

Hamid Beik Frangieh (6 August 1907 – 5 September 1981) was a Lebanese member of the Parliament of Lebanon and held numerous ministerial positions in the Lebanese government. He was one of the Maronite leaders of Lebanon.

Bassam Frangieh (Arabic: بسام فرنجيه) is a scholar of contemporary Arabic literature and culture. He is best known for his pedagogical innovations in the study of the Arabic language, as well as his translations of modern Arabic poets and novelists. Frangieh also lectures on the society and culture of the Arab world. A language professor as well as a scholar and writer, Frangieh has achieved moderate fame in the American academic world of Middle Eastern Studies for his engaging educational methods.

Abdullah Al Rasi (1929–1994) was a Lebanese physician and politician. He worked as a physician in Saudi Arabia in the 1960s and following the election of his father-in-law Suleiman Frangieh as the President of Lebanon in 1972 he began to involve in politics. Al Rasi was a long-term member of the Parliament of Lebanon and served as the minister of interior between 1984 and 1988.

Tony Frangieh is a Lebanese politician who serves as member of parliament since 2018. He is a member of the Marada Movement and the son of its leader, Suleiman Frangieh.

The Ehden massacre (Arabic: مجزرة إهدن‎) took place on 13 June 1978, part of the 1975–1990 Lebanese Civil War. It was an inter-Christian attack that occurred between the Maronite clans. A Phalangist squad attacked the mansion of the Frangieh family in an attempt to capture Ehden, killing nearly 40 people including Tony Frangieh, his spouse and his three-year old daughter, Jihane. After the massacre, the power of the Frangiehs is reported to have declined.
