She was discovered by Seiko Films when she was 15 years after applying for work in Japan. She then had sexy roles in various films by Seiko. In October 2002, Zubiri became widely known in the Philippines after posing on the top of the EDSA–Shaw flyover in Mandaluyong City, wearing only a two-piece bikini. That photo shoot for FHM Philippines sparked controversy and prompted the then Mayor of Mandaluyong City, Benhur Abalos, to file charges against Zubiri and FHM but it was later withdrawn after an apology.

He was considered as a music icon in the Philippines. He started the trend of incorporating Tagalog lyrics in his rendition of the American song The Way We Were and other foreign songs. Puno was known as a singer who regularly infused his on-stage performance with tongue-in-cheek comedy and adult humor. He hosted the noontime variety show Pilipinas Win na Win alongside Rey Valera, Marco Sison, and Nonoy Zuñiga for two months in 2010 replacing Kris Aquino. He also hosted on Happy Yipee Yehey! together with John Estrada, Randy Santiago, Mariel Rodriguez, Pokwang and Toni Gonzaga as one of the main host replacing Pilipinas Win na Win.

Manalo. She was beside her husband who led the church for over 46 years, since the death of Felix Manalo in 1963 and until the latter's death in 2009. By then, her son and first child, Eduardo V. Manalo who was at that time the Deputy Executive Minister assumed post.
