Football in the Community of Madrid

The Madrid autonomous football team is the regional football team for the Community of Madrid, Spain. They are not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA, because the Community of Madrid is represented internationally by the Spain national football team. The team plays only friendly matches.

The Divisiones Regionales de Fútbol in the Community of Madrid, are organized by the Madrid Football Federation:

El Viejo Clásico (The Old Classic), also known as El Otro Clásico (The Other Classic) is the name given to any football match between Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid. Until 10 December 2011, this fixture was the most played in the history of Spanish football, when it was surpassed by El Clásico (between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona). However, it remains the most played game in the Copa del Rey – although only five of the 56 matches took place in the 21st century.

The Madrid derby (Spanish: Derbi Madrileño) is the name given to football matches between Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid, both hailing from the Spanish capital city of Madrid. Originally it referred only to those fixtures held in the Spanish championship, but nowadays the term has been generalized, and tends to include every single match between the two clubs, such as in tournaments like the UEFA Champions League, Copa del Rey and Supercopa de España.

The Royal Madrid Football Federation (Spanish: Real Federación de Fútbol de Madrid; RFFM) is the governing body of the sport of football in the Community of Madrid, Spain. Its headquarters are in the city of Madrid.

The South Madrid derby (Spanish: Derbi del sur de Madrid), is the name given to any association football match contested between Getafe CF and CD Leganés, the two biggest teams in the south of the Community of Madrid.

El Clásico (in Spanish, also in lowercase letters) or El Clàssic (in Catalan, ), both meaning "The Classic", is the name given to any football match between rival clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid. Originally referring to competitions held in the Spanish championship, the term now includes every match between the clubs, such as those in the UEFA Champions League, Supercopa de España and Copa del Rey. It is considered one of sport's fiercest rivalries, and its matches have a global audience of hundreds of millions. A fixture known for its intensity, it has featured memorable goal celebrations from both teams, often involving mockery from both sides.

The 2024–25 Supercopa de España Femenina was the sixth edition of the current Supercopa de España Femenina, an annual women's football competition for clubs in the Spanish football league system that were successful in its major competitions in the preceding season.

The 1904 Campeonato de Madrid (English: 1904 Madrid Championship) was the 2nd staging of the Regional Championship of Madrid, formed to designate the champion of the region.

The 1929–30 Campeonato Regional de Madrid was the 28th season of the Campeonato Regional Centro. Real Madrid, Racing de Madrid and Athletic de Madrid finished in the top three positions respectively and qualified for the 1929–30 Copa del Rey.
