Food photographers

Irving Penn (June 16, 1917 – October 7, 2009) was an American photographer known for his fashion photography, portraits, and still lifes. Penn's career included work at Vogue magazine, and independent advertising work for clients including Issey Miyake and Clinique. His work has been exhibited internationally and continues to inform the art of photography.

Edgar Domingo Evia y Joutard, known professionally as Edgar de Evia (July 30, 1910 – February 10, 2003), was a Mexican-born American interiors photographer.

Ben Rose (1916 – 1980) was an American photographer.

Food blogging represents a complex interweaving of “foodie” or gourmet interest in cooking with those of blog writing and photography. The majority of blogs use pictures taken by the author himself/herself and some of them focus specifically on food photography.

Gail Skoff is a photographer known for her handcolored prints. Much of her work focuses on landscapes and food. She was a 1976 recipient of a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and several of the prints resulting from fellowship are held by the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Her works are also held at the Biblioteque Nationale in Paris, the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, and the Oakland Museum of California.

Tessa Traeger (born 1938) is a British photographer. She is known for her still life and food photography, and has worked as an advertising photographer. Her work has been published in two books of her own; included in a number of books with others on gardening and food; exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions; and is held in the collections of the National Portrait Gallery and Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

Christopher Boffoli (born in 1969 in Worcester, Massachusetts) is a fine art photographer, photojournalist, independent filmmaker, and journalist based in Seattle. He is best known for his "Big Appetites" photographs series, in which tiny, detailed human figures pose in real food environments. His photos have been published in dozens of countries around the world, and are displayed in galleries and private collections in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Robert Caplin (born 1983, in United States) is an American photographer and cinematographer. Since 2005, Caplin has photographed over 800 assignments for The New York Times and has contributed to and has been published by hundreds of local, national, and international newspapers and magazines including National Geographic, Los Angeles Times, Sports Illustrated, ESPN The Magazine, USA Today, The Sunday Times, Newsweek, Time, Us Weekly, and Vanity Fair. In 2010 Caplin spent six months on the road with and documented the international pop singer Justin Bieber and along with HarperCollins, put together Bieber's illustrated biography consisting of Bieber's words and Caplin's photos. The biography, Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story spent 14 weeks on The New York Times Best Seller list and has sold over 1 million copies in 25 languages. Caplin's video documentation of Bieber on tour was released as part of Paramount Pictures' movie Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.

Brian Grech (born 26 January 1980 in Malta) is an award-winning fashion photographer and visual designer, based in Malta.

Gregory Mark Preston (born June 2, 1960) is an American photographer and author, best known for his portraiture of artists within their creative spaces.
