Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (transl.) also known as KKHH, is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy-drama film, written and directed by Karan Johar. It stars the popular on-screen pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in their fourth film together, along with Rani Mukerji. The film also marks the film debut of Sana Saeed. The plot combines two love triangles set years apart. The first half covers friends on a college campus, while the second tells the story of a widower's young daughter who tries to reunite her dad with his old friend.

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (transl.) is an Indian 2009 Hindi-language romantic action comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, And Upen Patel The film was produced by Ramesh Taurani at a reported budget of (US$3.5 million) and released on 6 November 2009. It was the third highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year with worldwide earnings of (US$14 million). Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani was declared Super hit by Box Office India. Ranbir Kapoor won several awards for his performance including the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. The film is a remake of the 2005 Telugu film Soggadu.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (transl.) also known by the initialism HAHK, is a 1994 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions. The film stars Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan, and celebrates the Indian wedding traditions by relating the story of a married couple and the relationship between their families; a story about sacrificing one's love for one's family. It is an adaptation of the studio's earlier film Nadiya Ke Paar (1982), which was based on Keshav Prasad Mishra's Hindi novel Kohbar Ki Shart.

Raja Hindustani (transl.) is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Dharmesh Darshan. It tells the story of a cab driver from a small town who falls in love with a rich young woman. Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor play the lead roles. Released on 15 November 1996, this film's plot was inspired from the 1965 film Jab Jab Phool Khile, starring Shashi Kapoor and Nanda. The film's music was composed by Nadeem-Shravan, with lyrics by Sameer. It went on to win five Filmfare Awards, including the awards for Best film and Best Actors, and seven Screen Awards.

Maine Pyar Kiya (transl. I fell in love) is an Indian 1989 Hindi-language musical romance film directed by Sooraj Barjatya who made his directorial debut and also co-wrote the film starring Salman Khan in his first leading role and Bhagyashree in her debut. It also features Alok Nath, Mohnish Bahl, Reema Lagoo, Rajeev Verma, Ajit Vachani, and Laxmikant Berde in pivotal roles. The story revolves around Prem and Suman. Suman is the daughter of a poor mechanic Karan who leaves her with his rich friend Kishan before going abroad. Suman is befriended by Kishan's son Prem and they fall in love.

The film was the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 1997, behind Dil To Pagal Hai and Border, with a worldwide gross of ₹505 million. It is the last film to feature Khan and Chawla together onscreen. The Kannada remake of the film, Snehana Preethina, was released in 2007.
