It is the first installment in the Tiger franchise and the first installment of YRF’s Spy Universe. The film contains an ensemble cast, which stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. It also features Ranvir Shorey, Girish Karnad, Roshan Seth, and Gavie Chahal.

Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language gangster film written by Rajat Arora and directed by Milan Luthria. Dhoom 3 (transl.) is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra, It stars Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in lead roles. It is the third and final installment of the Dhoom series and the sequel to Dhoom (2004) and Dhoom 2 (2006).

Ragini MMS 2 is a 2014 Indian erotic horror thriller film directed by Bhushan Patel and co-produced by Jayasinh Gupta and Sunil Maurya Pradhaan under Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment. The movie is the sequel to the 2011 horror movie Ragini MMS. Ragini MMS 2 features Sunny Leone and Saahil Prem in lead roles in a continuation of the plot from the prequel. Unlike the first film, the movie is not shot in a found footage format. The film received an A certificate.The film was a major commercial success, being declared a hit at the box office, and catapulted Sunny into the general public conscious in India as a mainstream actress.

Shootout at Wadala is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language action crime film written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. It is a prequel to the 2007 hit Shootout at Lokhandwala, and it is the second instalment of the Shootout film series. It is loosely based on the book Dongri to Dubai: Six Decades of the Mumbai Mafia by Hussain Zaidi. The film features John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Sonu Sood in lead roles. The film dramatises the encounter by Mumbai police in which gangster Manya Surve was shot dead. It took place at the junction adjacent to Dr. Ambedkar college, Wadala, Mumbai on 11 January 1982.

Dabangg 2 (transl.) is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film co-produced (with Malaika Arora) and directed by Arbaaz Khan in his directorial debut. Its story is set in Kanpur and written by Dilip Shukla. Dabangg 2 serves as a sequel to the 2010 film Dabangg and is the second part in the highly successful Dabangg franchise. It stars Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill and Vinod Khanna reprising their roles from Dabangg, with Prakash Raj playing the antagonist replacing Sonu Sood. The supporting cast includes Nikitin Dheer, Gireesh Sahdev, Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Pahwa and Deepak Dobriyal, with Manoj Joshi and Tinnu Anand appearing in cameo roles.

Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya (transl.) is a 2012 Indian Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Mandeep Kumar and produced by Kumar Taurani. The film features Riteish Deshmukh opposite his wife Genelia D'Souza in the lead roles. This is the third film the couple Diljit Dosanjh and Veena Malik appeared in guest roles. The film is inspired by the 1997 film A Life Less Ordinary.

Rowdy Rathore is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Prabhu Deva. It is an official remake of the 2006 Telugu film Vikramarkudu. It is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala, with story written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, and stars Akshay Kumar, in double role of a brave police officer and thief. The film also features Sonakshi Sinha, Gurdeep Kohli, Yashpal Sharma and Paresh Ganatra in supporting roles, while Nassar portrays the main antagonist and Tamil actor Vijay makes a special appearance.

Housefull 2 (also known as Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen) is an 2012 Indian Hindistani-language action comedy film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. An uncredited remake of the Malayalam film Mattupetti Machan, it is distributed by Eros International, with songs composed by Sajid–Wajid. Housefull 2 is the second installment of the Housefull film franchise. The film features a large ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Asin Thottumkal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Zareen Khan, Shazahn Padamsee, Chunky Pandey, Mithun Chakraborty, Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor, while Johnny Lever, Boman Irani, Neelu Kohli, and Suparna Marwah appear in brief roles, with Malaika Arora in an item number.

Agneepath (transl.) is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language action drama film produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. It is a reboot of the 1990 film of the same name and was directed by Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra. The screenplay was written by Malhotra along with Ila Dutta Bedi & the dialogues were written by Piyush Mishra. Johar pays tribute to his father, Yash Johar, the producer of the original, through the film. The music of the film was composed by Ajay-Atul, with lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Though publicised as a remake, the film borrows only the basic plot of the original, while making the characters and incidents completely different. The film's title was taken from a poem of the same name by Harivansh Rai Bachchan, which forms a thematic link through the film, both literally and metaphorically.
