Vesna Škare-Ožbolt (born 20 June 1961) is a Croatian politician. She was the 10th Minister of Justice of Croatia from 2003 until 2006. She was the second female holder of that office, as well as the second consecutive woman after Ingrid Antičević-Marinović.

Jadranka Kosor (born 1 July 1953) is a Croatian politician and former journalist who served as Prime Minister of Croatia from 2009 to 2011, having taken office following the sudden resignation of her predecessor Ivo Sanader. Kosor was the first and so far only woman to become prime minister of Croatia since independence.

Ante Pavelić ( 14 July 1889 – 28 December 1959) was a Croatian politician and dictator who founded and headed the fascist ultranationalist organization known as the Ustaše in 1929 and governed the Independent State of Croatia (Croatian: Nezavisna Država Hrvatska, NDH), a fascist puppet state built out of parts of occupied Yugoslavia by the authorities of Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, from 1941 to 1945. Pavelić and the Ustaše persecuted many racial minorities and political opponents in the NDH during the war, including Serbs, Jews, Romani, and anti-fascists, becoming one of the key figures of the Genocide of Serbs and the Holocaust in NDH.

Andrej Plenković ((listen); born 8 April 1970) is a Croatian politician serving as Prime Minister of Croatia since October 2016, and as President of the Croatian Democratic Union since July 2016. He was previously one of eleven Croatian members of the European Parliament, serving from Croatia's accession to the European Union in 2013 until his resignation as MEP when he took office as Prime Minister.

Ivo Josipović ( born 28 August 1957) is a Croatian jurist, composer and politician who served as President of Croatia from 2010 to 2015.

Zoran Milanović ( born 30 October 1966) is a Croatian politician serving as President of Croatia since 2020. Prior to assuming the presidency, he was President of the Social Democratic Party from 2007 to 2016 and Prime Minister of Croatia from 2011 to 2016.

Ante Babaja (6 October 1927 – 14 January 2010) was a notable Croatian film director and screenwriter.

Ante Paradžik (10 February 1943 – 21 September 1991) was a Croatian right-wing politician and communist-era dissident. Paradžik was one of the founders of the Croatian Party of Rights.

Ivo Škrabalo (19 February 1934 – 18 September 2011) was a Croatian film critic, screenwriter, and member of parliament.

Šime Đodan (27 December 1927 – 2 October 2007) was a Croatian politician, a two-term Member of Parliament who also briefly served as the 3rd Minister of Defense of Croatia in 1991.
