Ethiopian male athletes

Teshome Dirirsa (born 25 April 1994) is an Ethiopian male athlete. Dirirsa has competed at the IAAF World Youth Championships in 2011 and in 2012. He won the gold medal in the Boy's 1500 metres event at the 2011 World Youth Championships

Abayneh Ayele Woldegiorgis (born 4 November 1987) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who competes mainly in road running events. He holds a marathon best of 2:06:45 hours and a half marathon best of 59:59 minutes. He was a bronze medallist in the 5000 metres at the 2011 All-Africa Games and placed fourth at the 2016 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships.

Shemsu Hassan (born 1968) is an Ethiopian former racewalker. He competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Tamirat Tola Abera (born 11 August 1991) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who competes in cross country running and road running. He was a team medallist for Ethiopia at the 2015 IAAF World Cross Country Championships and 2016 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships, having had top six finishes.

Mezgebu Sime (born 7 October 2005) is an Ethiopian long distance runner.
