    Lake Albina Ski Lodge was built overlooking Lake Albina in the Kosciuszko National Park of Australia, by The Ski Tourers Association, (later renamed The Australian Alpine Club). In 1952 the first Albina Summer Slalom Cup was held, taking advantage of the seasonally unusual snow conditions. Summer time ski events continued for at least another 3 years on either Mount Kosciuszko or Mount Townsend. The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) required the club to vacate the lodge in 1969, and it gradually became a ruin. It was finally demolished by NPWS in 1983 .

    The Warringah Shire Hall was an Australian municipal town hall located on Pittwater Road opposite Robert Street in Brookvale, a suburb of the Northern Beaches of Sydney, New South Wales. Initially built in 1910 as a Federation bungalow, the complex was expanded with the addition of "Shire Hall" in 1912, the final form was completed in 1923 with the addition of a second floor to a design by Trenchard Smith and Maisey. The Shire Hall was the seat of Warringah Council from 1910 to 1973, when the council moved to a new purpose-built Civic Centre on further down Pittwater Road in Dee Why. The Shire Hall survived amid uncertainty over its future but was eventually sold and demolished in 1978.

    The first hospital in Canberra was the Canberra Hospital in Balmain Crescent Acton in 1914, predominately for the workers building the new capital of Canberra. Called later the Canberra Community Hospital in 1929 after additions to the older building which became necessary due to the influx of government staff following the opening of Parliament in Canberra in 1927. In 1942 a new hospital was built on Acton Peninsula also known as the Canberra Community Hospital until 1972 when it earned its title as the Royal Canberra Hospital. It grew to become the major hospital in Canberra before being closed in 1991 and later demolished in 1997.

    Bunnerong Power Station was a coal-fired power station in the south-eastern Sydney suburb of Matraville, New South Wales, Australia that was decommissioned by 1975 and subsequently demolished. When the last generating units were commissioned, it was the largest power station in the southern hemisphere, with a capacity of 375 megawatts (MW) from eleven turbo-alternators. It was able to supply up to one third of the state's electricity needs at the time. It remained the most powerful until the completion of Vales Point Power Station in 1966.
