Da Nang

Da Nang or Danang (Vietnamese: Đà Nẵng, ) is the fifth-largest city in Vietnam by municipal population. It lies on the coast of the South China Sea of Vietnam at the mouth of the Hàn River, and is one of Vietnam's most important port cities. As one of the country's five direct-controlled municipalities, it falls under the administration of the central government.

Nguyễn Bá Thanh (18 April 1953 – 13 February 2015) was a Vietnamese politician.

The diocese of Đà Nẵng (Latin: Dioecesis Đànẵngensis) is a Roman Catholic diocese in central Vietnam. The bishop is Joseph Đặng Đức Ngân since 2016. The creation of the diocese in present form was declared January 18, 1963. The diocese covers an area of 11,690 km², and is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Huế. By 2004, the diocese of Đà Nang had about 57,870 believers (2.7% of the population), 68 priests and 38 parishes. Sacred Heart Cathedral in Da Nang has been assigned as the Cathedral of the diocese.

Hoa Cam Concrete JSC (CTCP Bê tông Hoà Cầm; HASTC:HCC) is a construction materials company in Vietnam, specializing in the manufacture and distribution of concrete, cement, sand and stone. It has participated in major construction projects including hydropower plants, electricity transmission networks and office buildings. Hoa Cam is located in Da Nang and its main markets are Da Nang Province, Quảng Nam Province and Dung Quat Economic Zone of the South Central Coast region. It is listed on the Hanoi Securities Trading Center.

DRC (Danang Rubber Company) (HSX:DRC) is a tire manufacturer and rubber-processing company in Danang, Vietnam. It manufactures, markets, and distributes tires and other rubber-derived products for industrial and automotive use. The company also merchandises machinery and supplies for rubber processing activities, as well performing installations for this equipment.

The Da Nang Tennis Open was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour. It was held in Da Nang, Vietnam in 2019.
