Jozef (Jumping Joe) Sabovčík (born 4 December 1963) is a Slovak figure skater who competed representing Czechoslovakia. He is the 1984 Olympic bronze medalist, a two-time European champion (1985 and 1986), and a six-time Czechoslovak national champion. His quad toe loop at the 1986 European Championships was originally approved as the first quad jump landed in competition, but a few weeks later it was deemed invalid due to a touchdown with his free foot.

Petr Barna (born 9 March 1966) is a Czech former competitive figure skater who competed for Czechoslovakia. He is the 1992 European champion, the 1992 Olympic bronze medalist, and a seven-time Czechoslovak national champion. He was the first man to land a quadruple jump in Olympic competition.

Iveta Zelingerová-Fortová (born June 21, 1972) is a Czech cross-country skier who competed from 1992 to 1998. Competing in three Winter Olympics, she earned her best finishes at Albertville with sixth overall in the 4 × 5 km relay and 18th individually in the 5 km event.

Alžbeta Havrančíková (born 27 September 1963) is a Czechoslovak and Slovak former cross-country skier who competed from 1984 to 2000. Competing in four Winter Olympics, she earned her best finish of sixth in the 4 × 5 km relay at Albertville in 1992 and her best individual finish of eighth in the 15 km event at Lillehammer in 1994.

Pavel Ploc (born 15 June 1964) is a Czech former ski jumper who competed for Czechoslovakia, winning two Olympic medals.

Rudolf Burkert (31 October 1904 – 7 June 1985) was an Ethnic German Czechoslovak Nordic skier who competed in the 1920s and 1930s. He won a bronze medal in the ski jumping individual large hill competition at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz, the first Winter Olympics medal in Czechoslovak history. He also finished 12th in the nordic combined event at those Olympics.

Bruno Matykiewicz (born 1959) is a former Polish weightlifter from Zaolzie who represented Czechoslovakia.

Jiří Teplý (born December 2, 1962 in Nove Mesto na Morave) was a Czechoslovakian-Czech cross country skier who competed from 1991 to 1995. Competing in two Winter Olympics, he earned his best career and individual finishes of eighth in the 4 × 10 km relay and 17th in the 30 km event, respectively, both at Lillehammer in 1994.

Ivana Rádlová (born June 12, 1968) is a Czechoslovakian cross-country skier who competed in the late 1980s. She finished seventh in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.

Věra Klimková (born Věra Leskovjanská on 11 August 1957 in Spišská Nová Ves) is a Slovakian cross-country skier who competed for Czechoslovakia from 1982 to 1988. She finished seventh in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.
