Cuban expatriate baseball players in Taiwan

José Ariel Contreras Camejo (born December 6, 1971), is a Cuban former professional baseball pitcher, who played in the Cuban National Series (CNS), Major League Baseball (MLB), and internationally for the Cuban national baseball team.

Michael Tejera (born October 18, 1976 in Havana, Cuba) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He played all or part of five seasons in the majors, and currently is a pitching coach for the GCL Nationals.

Edilberto Oropesa (born November 23, 1971), is a Cuban former professional baseball pitcher, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies (2001), Arizona Diamondbacks (2002–2003), and San Diego Padres (2004). On April 8, 2004, he was credited with the win, in the first-ever big league game played at Petco Park, as the Padres defeated the San Francisco Giants, 4 to 3.

Hansel Izquierdo (born January 2, 1977 in Havana, Cuba) is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher. He played during one season at the major league level for the Florida Marlins. He was drafted by the Marlins in the 7th round of the 1995 amateur draft. Izquierdo played his first professional season with their Rookie league GCL Marlns in 1995, and split his last season between the Pittsburgh Pirates' Double-A (Altoona Curve) and Triple-A (Indianapolis Indians) clubs in 2005. Today is active in Mexican winter baseball pitching for the Mayos de Navojoa. Hansel has a wife and a daughter. He currently teaches little league baseball.

Ariel Miranda Gil (born January 10, 1989) is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher for the Doosan Bears of the KBO League. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners, Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, and Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) for the Chinatrust Brothers.

Hassan Peña (born March 25, 1985) is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher for the Algodoneros de San Luis of the Liga Norte de México.
