The 1973 Camellia Bowl was the NCAA Division II Football Championship game following the 1973 season, between the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.

The 2015 Holiday Bowl was an American college football bowl game played on December 30, 2015 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California. The 38th edition of the Holiday Bowl, it featured Wisconsin from the Big Ten Conference and USC from the Pac-12 Conference. It was one of the 2015–16 bowl games that concluded the 2015 FBS football season. The game started at 7:40 p.m. PST and was telecast on ESPN (also on ESPN Radio). The Badgers defeated the Trojans 23–21.

The 2015 Hawaii Bowl was a post-season American college football bowl game played on December 24, 2015 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The fourteenth edition of the Hawaii Bowl featured the Cincinnati Bearcats of the American Athletic Conference against the San Diego State Aztecs from the Mountain West Conference. It began at 3:15 p.m. HST and aired on ESPN. It was one of the 2015–16 bowl games that concluded the 2015 FBS football season.

The Freedom Bowl featured the San Diego State Aztecs and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane as their postseason bowl game to end the 1991 NCAA Division I-A football season for both teams.

The 1998 Motor City Bowl matched the Marshall Thundering Herd and the Louisville Cardinals.

The 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 29, 2014, at Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando, Florida. This was the 25th Russell Athletic Bowl. It was one of the 2014–15 NCAA football bowl games that conclude the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. It was sponsored by the Russell Athletic uniform company.

The 2002 Liberty Bowl was a college football postseason bowl game played on December 31, 2002, at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee. The 44th edition of the Liberty Bowl matched the TCU Horned Frogs and the Colorado State Rams. The game was sponsored by the Axa Equitable Life Insurance Company and was branded as the AXA Liberty Bowl. TCU won, 17–3; the game was TCU's 500th victory in program history.

The 1997 Motor City Bowl was the inaugural edition of the new college football bowl game, and was played at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan on December 26, 1997. The game featured the Marshall Thundering Herd of the MAC and the Ole Miss Rebels of the Southeastern Conference.

The 1981 Liberty Bowl, a college football postseason bowl game, was played on December 30, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee, at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. The 23rd edition of the Liberty Bowl featured the Ohio State Buckeyes from the Big Ten Conference facing the independent Navy Midshipmen. Ohio State won the game, 31–28.

The 1995 Copper Bowl was an American college football bowl game play on December 27, 1995, at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Arizona. It was the seventh edition of the annual bowl Copper Bowl. The game featured the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and the Air Force Falcons.
