Alauddin Ali Ahmed Kaliyari also known as Sabir Kaliyari (The Patient Saint of Kaliyar) was a prominent South Asian Sufi Saint of Chishti Order in 13th century, a successor to Baba Fareed (1188–1280) , and the first in the Sabiriya branch of Chishti Order.

Muhammad bin Yousuf Al Hussaini (7 August 1321 − 10 November 1422), commonly known as Banda Nawaz Gaisu Daraz, was a Hanafi Maturidi scholar and Sufi saint from India of the Chishti Order, who advocated understanding, tolerance and harmony among religions.

Ashraf 'Ali Thanwi (August 19, 1863 – July 4, 1943) (Urdu: اشرف علی تھانوی‎) was an Indian scholar of the Deobandi school.

Dr Matauddin Peerzada (alias Motamiyan Chishty - IV) also known as Peer Dr Matauddin Chishty (Born 20 November 1984) was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in the Chishty Sufi family of India. He is a philosopher, social activist, author and a Sufi preacher. He belongs to the Chishtiya Sufi Order initiated in India by Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty (Radi.) of Ajmer.

S. R. Chishti is a tabla player of Lucknow gharana (tabla) and composer. S R Chishti completed his PhD from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra in music (Tabla).

Syed Waheed Ashraf is an Indian Sufi scholar and poet in Persian and Urdu. Ashraf received his B.A., M.A. and PhD (1965) degrees from Aligarh Muslim University. The title of his doctoral dissertation was A Critical Edition of Lataife Ashrafi. After serving at a number of Indian universities (Punjabi University at Patiala, M.S. University of Baroda and the University of Madras), Ashraf retired as head of the department of Arabic, Persian and Urdu at the University of Madras in 1993. Fluent in seven languages (Pahlavi, Persian, Arabic, Urdu, English, Hindi and Gujarati), he writes in Urdu, Persian and English, has written, edited or compiled over 35 books and a number of research articles, and has been honoured in India and abroad. Ashraf has focused on upholding and propagating the principles and practices of Sufism.

Baba Qamar U Zaman Faridi Chishti, more commonly known as Sarkar Baba Qamar U Zaman (1940–2011) was a Muslim Saint from the Chishti Order. He was a devoutly religious Sufi, founder and architect of the Chishti Zamani Order. He taught thousands of people across Pakistan and abroad about Islam. The Chisti Order emphasizes "love all and hate none".

Unwan Chishti (5 February 1937 – 1 February 2004) was an Urdu poet who gained repute as a poet, as a scholar, as a teacher and as a literary critic. He was the disciple of Abr Ahasani Gunnauri.

Meher Ali Shah (Urdu: پیر مہر على شاه‬‎‎; 14 April 1859 – May 1937), was a Sufi scholar from British India (present Day Pakistan) belonging to the Chishti order. He is known as a Hanafi scholar leading the anti-Ahmadiyya movement. He wrote several books, most notably Saif e Chishtiyai ("The Sword of the Chishti Order"), a polemical work criticizing the Ahmadiyya movement of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.
