Stephen Leigh Halfpenny (born 22 December 1988) is a Welsh rugby union player who plays as a fullback or wing for the Scarlets, Wales and the British and Irish Lions. Halfpenny is the third highest record points scorer for Wales after Neil Jenkins and Stephen Jones.

William Michael "Mike" Phillips (born 29 August 1982) is a rugby union player who plays at scrum-half. On 16 March 2013, Phillips surpassed the record of 76 caps set by Dwayne Peel as the most capped scrum-half for Wales.

Jonah Tali Lomu MNZM (12 May 1975 – 18 November 2015) was a New Zealand rugby union player. He became the youngest ever All Black when he played his first international in 1994 at the age of 19 years and 45 days. Playing on the wing Lomu finished his international career with 63 caps and 37 tries. He is regarded as the first true global superstar of rugby and consequently had a huge impact on the game. Lomu was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame on 9 October 2007, and the IRB Hall of Fame on 24 October 2011.

Gavin Lloyd Henson (born 1 February 1982) is a Welsh rugby union player who most recently played for Dragons in the Pro14. He attracted much media attention as part of a Wales national team which achieved Grand Slams in the Six Nations Championship in 2005 and 2008. He has also played for the British and Irish Lions, touring in 2005 to New Zealand but has never appeared at a World Cup.

Liam Davies (born 10 May 1986) is a Welsh rugby union footballer. A scrum-half, Davies began his professional rugby career with the Llanelli Scarlets, and made his league debut for the Scarlets while still in the region's development squad, playing against Cardiff Blues on 14 September 2005. He made a further nine appearances in the 2005–06 season, scoring a try against Glasgow Warriors on 16 October 2005. In March 2006, Davies was promoted to the Scarlets' first team squad, signing on a professional development contract.

Rhys Priestland (born 9 January 1987) is a Welsh international rugby union player who primarily plays as a fly-half, but is also capable of playing at full-back. He attended Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Myrddin in Carmarthen, and he is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Jamie Huw Roberts (born 8 November 1986) is a Welsh rugby union player, who plays for the Dragons. His usual position is centre.

Alex Cuthbert (born 5 April 1990) is a Welsh rugby union player. Born in Gloucester, he plays on the wing for Exeter Chiefs and the Wales national team.

Ben Austin Blair (born 26 March 1979 in Westport, New Zealand) is a rugby union footballer. He played four tests for New Zealand. He scored 37 points on his All Blacks debut against Ireland A in 2001 at Ravenhill in Belfast, however as this was not a test match he was not capped. His first Test match appearance came in November that year against Scotland.

Gareth Thomas (born 25 July 1974), nicknamed "Alfie", is a Welsh former professional rugby player, who represented Wales in both rugby union and rugby league. With 100 test match appearances he was the most capped Welsh rugby union player until he was overtaken by Stephen Jones in September 2011. He is currently ranked 13th among international try scorers, and is the second highest Wales try scorer behind Shane Williams. He also won four rugby league caps for Wales, scoring three tries.
