Canadian blues guitarists

Norman Jeffrey Healey (March 25, 1966 – March 2, 2008) was a Canadian jazz and blues-rock vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter who attained musical and personal popularity, particularly in the 1980s and 1990s. He reached No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Angel Eyes" and reached the Top 10 in Canada with the songs "I Think I Love You Too Much" and "How Long Can a Man Be Strong".

Sue Foley (born March 29, 1968) is a Canadian blues singer and guitarist. She has released 15 albums since her debut with Young Girl Blues (1992). In May 2020, Foley won her first Blues Music Award, in the 'Koko Taylor Award (Traditional Blues Female)' category.

John William "Long John" Baldry (12 January 1941 – 21 July 2005) was an English-Canadian blues singer and voice actor. In the 1960s, he was one of the first British vocalists to sing the blues in clubs and shared the stage with many British musicians including the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. Before achieving stardom, Rod Stewart and Elton John were members of bands led by Baldry. He enjoyed pop success in 1967 when "Let the Heartaches Begin" reached No. 1 in the UK, and in Australia where his duet with Kathi McDonald "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" reached No. 2 in 1980.

James Thomas Kevin Byrnes OBC (born September 22, 1948) is an American actor and musician of blues.

Matt Andersen is a Canadian blues guitarist and singer-songwriter from Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, signed to True North Records. He is a Juno Award nominee. His musical career started in 2002 with the New Brunswick band Flat Top.

David Karl William Wilcox (born July 13, 1949) is a Canadian rock musician.

Anthony Gomes (born May 14, 1970, Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian blues and blues rock guitarist and singer. He was born to a Portuguese father and a French-Canadian mother. After his 1998 debut album release Blues in Technicolor, he began touring the United States and Canada and he has since recorded eight more albums.

Roxanne Potvin (born March 31, 1982 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian bilingual Gatineau, Quebec-based singer, guitarist and songwriter. Potvin has earned a Juno nomination, seven Maple Blues awards nominations, and has toured internationally, along with making appearances at the Montreal Jazz Festival and Ottawa Bluesfest.

Colin James (born Colin James Munn, August 17, 1964) is a Canadian rock and blues singer and songwriter.

Aaron James Sorensen (born June 6, 1966) is a Canadian musician, writer, producer, and film director living in Calgary, Alberta. He has written, produced and directed several films and a mini-series. He is the front man for the alt-country band Aaron James & the Cultivators.
