    Haing Somnang Ngor (Khmer: ហាំង សំណាង ង៉ោ; Chinese: 吳漢潤; pinyin: Wú Hànrùn; March 22, 1940 – February 25, 1996) was a Cambodian American gynecologist, obstetrician, actor and author. He is best remembered for winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1985 for his debut performance in the film The Killing Fields (1984), in which he portrayed Cambodian journalist and refugee Dith Pran.

    Pisith Pilika (Khmer: ពិសិដ្ឋ ពីលីកា) (4 February 1965 – 6 July 1999), was a Cambodian ballet dancer and actress. Born Oak Eap Pili (Khmer: ឱក អៀបពីលី), Pilika appeared in hundreds of movies and thousands of karaoke videos from the 1980s through the 1990s. Her career was brought to a premature end when she was murdered in broad daylight at Phnom Penh's O'Russey Market. Though the crime amounted to one of the most high-profile killings in Cambodia’s recent history, no suspects have ever been identified or arrested.

    Tith Vichara Dany (Khmer: ទិត្យ វិជ្ជរ៉ា ដានី) was a popular Cambodian actress who most likely made her debut in 1967. She starred in a majority of films which include Thavory Meas Bong, Tep Sodachan, and Sovann Pancha during the nation's golden age of cinema. She is often paired on screen with fellow actor Kong Sam-Oeurn. Other notable actors she started with are Chea Yuthorn and Vann Vannak. In only a span of at least seven years she is credited to have starred in over one hundred films. Details of her life are relatively unknown and is believed to have perished shortly after the Khmer Rouge regime.

Her career started in 1988 with her paired actor Sam Vityea. After Sam Vityea died that year, Ampor Tevi was often paired with fellow actor, also famous at the time, Tep Rindaro.

    Saom Vansodany (Khmer: សោម វណ្ណសូដានី, c. 1947 – c. 1977) or Som Van Sok Dany was a famous Cambodian actress from the late 1960s until 1975. She was mainly featured and famous for her roles in melodramatic movies such as Thavory Meas Bong and Sovannahong. She married fellow actor, Chea Yuthorn before the communist era and is survived by their newborn baby son, Thorn Tharith. Details of her life are relatively unknown and she is believed to have perished from overwork under the Khmer Rouge regime shortly after giving birth to her son.
