The Queen Emma Bridge (Dutch: Koningin Emmabrug; Papiamento: Brùg di Ponton, Brùg di Punda) is a pontoon bridge across St. Anna Bay on Curaçao island in the Dutch Caribbean. It connects the Punda and Otrobanda quarters of the capital city, Willemstad. It was named after Emma of Waldeck and Pyrmont, who was queen consort of the Netherlands during its construction. The bridge is hinged and opens regularly to enable the passage of oceangoing vessels. On the opposite end from the hinge is a small shelter where an operator controls two diesel engines turning propellers. The propellers are mounted perpendicular to the length of the bridge and allow it to swing parallel to the shore. The process only takes a few minutes to complete.

The Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral also known as Pietermaai Cathedral or the Cathedral of the Holy Rosary (Papiamento: Kathedrale Reina di Santisimo Rosario; Dutch: Heilige Rozenkrans kathedraal) is a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church, which serves as the cathedral of the Diocese of Willemstad (Latin: Dioecesis Gulielmopolitana) in Juliana Plein 5, Pietermaai, Willemstad a city on the island of Curacao and has under its jurisdiction all dependent islands of the Netherlands in the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Venezuela.

Campo Alegre, also known as Le Mirage, was a large open-air brothel in Curaçao. It has been operated since the 1940s. Originally an army encampment, it is located off Seru Fortunaweg near Curaçao International Airport. It was the largest legal brothel in the Caribbean. Curaçao, a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, permits the business of prostitution within its territory within strict regulation. In June 2020, Campo Alegre closed. The facilities are auctioned in June 2022. Within stricter legal rules, prostitution can be resumed.

Plaza Hotel Curaçao is a former hotel in Willemstad, Curaçao. It was constructed in the Waterfort, and opened on 12 October 1957 as Hotel Curaçao Intercontinental. It is the tallest building on the island. The hotel has changed ownership many times. In 2017, Plaza Hotel Management was declared bankrupt. The hotel is in a dilapidated state, and pieces have fallen off. Viva Construction had been hired to assess the building prior to the 2020 auction, and reported that demolition was the best option. At the auction, it was sold to Algemeen Pensionfonds Curaçao, a pension fund which planned to redevelop the site.

Fort Nassau (officially: Fort Oranje Nassau) is a fort located in Willemstad, Curaçao. It is located on a 68 metres (223 ft) high hill overlooking the city of Willemstad and its harbour. It was constructed in 1796 as Fort Republiek. In 1807, Curaçao was captured by the British, and the fort was renamed Fort George. In 1816, Curaçao was returned to Netherlands, and the fort received its current name. It lost its military function, but was used as a control tower for the Queen Emma Bridge. Since 1959, it is in use as a restaurant.

Kurá Hulanda Museum is an anthropological museum in Curaçao. The museum specialises in the Atlantic slave trade, and opened in April 1999.

Curaçao Medical Center is the main hospital of Curaçao. It is located in the Otrobanda district of Willemstad, and serves a replacement for the Sint-Elisabeth Hospital. The hospital opened on 15 November 2019, and has been constructed next to the Sint-Elisabeth Hospital. As of 2021, the hospital has 300 beds, and a staff of 1,170 people.

Curaçao Centre for Correction and Detention (Papiamento: Sentro di Detenshon i Korekshon Kòrsou, SDKK; Dutch: Centrum voor Detentie en Correctie Curaçao) is the only prison on the Caribbean island of Curaçao. Since the construction of the prison in 1960 the prison has also been known as the Koraal Specht-prison, after the name of the neighbourhood it is located in. After renovations around the year 2001 the prison changed its name to Bon Futuro prison, meaning good future. At the Dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles on 10 October 2010 the prison changed its name once more and became the Sentro di Detenshon i Korekshon Kòrsou. During its existence the prison has been noted for ill treatment of prisoners and poor conditions. International, Dutch, Antillean and Curaçaoan investigations have found problems frequently. As of December 2014 the facility holds around 400 prisoners.

Curaçao International Airport (IATA: CUR, ICAO: TNCC) (Papiamento: Aeropuerto Internashonal Hato, Dutch: Hato Internationale Luchthaven), also known as Hato International Airport (formerly Dr. Albert Plesman International Airport), is the only airport for the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao, in the southern Caribbean Sea.
