The National Herbarium of Victoria (Index Herbariorum code: MEL) is one of Australia's earliest herbaria and the oldest scientific institution in Victoria. Its 1.5 million specimens of preserved plants, fungi and algae—collectively known as the State Botanical Collection of Victoria—comprise the largest herbarium collection in Australia and Oceania.

The Olympic Park Speedway is a motorcycle speedway located alongside the Murray River, at Olympic Park, Mildura, Victoria, Australia. The track is operated by the Mildura Motorcycle Club and hosts rounds of the Australian Solo Championship, the Victorian Solo Championship, the Australian Sidecar Championship and the Victorian Sidecar Championship. The speedway track has a circumference of 302 metres and a junior track with a circumference of 112 metres.

Scienceworks is a science museum in Melbourne, Australia which harnesses the power of hands-on experiences, immersive spaces and sensory learning, to inspire and drive future innovation. Through animated exploration and learning, Scienceworks expresses new ideas across science, space and technology. A venue of Museums Victoria, Scienceworks was first opened on 28 March 1992 near the historic Spotswood Pumping Station constructed in 1897, whose steam engines form an associated exhibit. in Melbourne’s inner west. The original vision for Scienceworks was a place for young people to engage with science, technology, engineering and maths in new, fun wpays. Today that original vision endures and continues to be expressed through Scienceworks’ STEM-centric experiences and exhibitions.

Montsalvat is an artists' community in Eltham, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Established by Justus Jorgensen in 1934, the colony is set among gardens on five hectares (12 acres) of land, and is home to dozens of buildings, including houses, halls, studios, galleries and stables.

The Point Nepean Quarantine Station is a former quarantine and military training facility in Portsea, Victoria, Australia on the Mornington Peninsula. It was established as a quarantine in 1852 following the Ticonderoga's arrival at the heads of Port Philip with a significant number of passengers with scarlet fever. It ceased operation as a quarantine in 1980, but was used by the military for training purposes since the 1950s (see Officer Cadet School). Currently, it hosts markets and similar events amongst the flat area and is part of the Point Nepean National Park. There is a shuttle bus to Fort Nepean that terminates at the Quarantine, as well as rentable bicycles to ride around the park. It is managed by Parks Victoria.

The Heavenly Queen Temple is a temple dedicated to Mazu or Tian Shang Sheng Mu (天上聖母), Chinese Goddess of Sea and Patron Deity of fishermen, sailors and any occupations related to sea/ocean, also regarded as Ancestral Deity for Lim (林) Clan. The temple is located in the Melbourne suburb of Footscray, approximately 4km from the Melbourne CBD, and overlooks the Maribyrnong River. It is Australia's largest Taoist temple and includes a 50-foot (15 m) gold-painted stainless steel statue of Mazu imported from Nanjing, China and installed in 2008, with the statue the second of its kind in the country. The temple complex is based on the Forbidden City, with the main temple opening in 2012. The temple's first stage was completed in 2013 at the cost of $5 million after 5 years of construction. The main hall opened to the public in 2015, but construction of the temple complex continued until 2020 with two additional halls completed. Once completed, the temple complex will cover approximately 40,000 square meters in area, with about two-thirds of the land to be used as a Chinese Garden and car park and the total floor area of the buildings to cover approximately 5000 square meters.
