Noviken VLF Transmitter is a facility used by NATO for transmitting messages to submerged submarines on 16.4 kHz under the callsign JXN. It is situated in Gildeskål Municipality, Norway and uses as antenna four wires spun between two mountains. The longest of these spans is 2,375 metres (7,792 ft) long.

The Svartisen Power Station is a hydroelectric power station located in Meløy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It operates at an installed capacity of 600 MW (800,000 hp), with an average annual production of about 2,400 GWh (8,600 TJ). The station is owned by Statkraft.

The Rana Power Station (Norwegian: Rana kraftverk) is a hydroelectric power station located in Rana Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It operates at an installed capacity of 500 MW (670,000 hp), with an average annual production of about 2,100 gigawatt-hours (7,600 TJ). The station is owned by Statkraft. In terms of annual production in Norway the station is second only to Svartisen Hydroelectric Power Station.

Gimsøy Abbey (Gimsøy kloster) was a Benedictine monastery located on the eastern end of the island of Klosterøya at Skien in Telemark, Norway. The island was commonly referred to as Gimsøy or Gjemsø.

Nordland Teater is a Norwegian theatre based in Mo i Rana. It was established in 1977 by Norwegian Parliament as the regional theatre for Nordland. Birgitte Strid has been theatre director since 2013.

Sildvik Hydroelectric Power Station is a hydroelectric power plant in Sildvik in Narvik Municipality. It was inaugurated in 1982 and has a power of 63 megawatts (84,000 hp).

Nygårds Power Station is a hydroelectric power plant in Storelva in Narvik Municipality. It has a power output of 25 megawatts (34,000 hp) generated by three vertical Francis turbines. Originally, it was used also for the generation of single phase AC for the railway, but today only three phase AC is produced.

Glomfjord power plant is a hydroelectric power plant in the village of Glomfjord in Meløy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It gets its water from Nedre Navervatn lake which is located about 465 metres (1,526 ft) above sea level. The plant also house a newer 2.4-megawatt (3,200 hp) Francis generator taking water from Fykanvatn lake as well. The outlet of the plant is the Glomfjorden and then the Norwegian Sea.
