The Ipoh railway station is a Malaysian train station located on the southwestern side of and named after the capital city of Ipoh, Perak. It serves as the main railway terminal for the state under Keretapi Tanah Melayu offering KTM ETS services, as well as handling freight trains. Although there are nine tracks, only four are electrified and three of the electrified tracks are used for the ETS service. The remaining six other tracks are used for freight trains.

Ipoh Parade is a shopping complex in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia with anchor tenants such as Parkson, Golden Screen Cinemas, Jaya Grocer, Guardian and Mr DIY. It was built and operated by the Lion Group in 1994. The mall was sold to ARA Asia Dragon Fund in 2012 and was closed in late 2013 to 2014 for a major refurbishment. It is now owned by ARA Harmony III and managed by ARA Asset Management Limited (ARA). Tasek is a railway station situated in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. It was opened in 2015 along with the other northern ETS stations between Ipoh and Padang Besar. Currently, this station is not in use as neither the ETS railway service nor the recently-extended KTM Komuter service stop here.

The Sam Poh Tong Temple (Chinese: 三寶洞 'three treasures cave') (also known as the Three Buddhas Cave) is a Chinese temple built within a limestone cave and is the oldest and the main cave temple in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. The temple was built in a raw limestone cave in the mountains located about 5 km from the city centre and follows Mahāyāna Buddhism.

SMJK Sam Tet (Chinese: 三德国民型华文中学; Malay: Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan Sam Tet) is a national-type Chinese-based Roman Catholic secondary school for boys located in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. It is located adjacent to its primary school, SJK (C) Sam Tet. The school's form 6 classes are available to both boys and girls, with former girls from SMJK Ave Maria Convent, Ipoh being the biggest population of girls. The school was nominated for School of Excellence in 2007 and for Cluster School of Excellence in 2015.

SMK Convent Ipoh (Malay: Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Convent Ipoh) is an all-girls secondary school located on Jalan Sultan Idris Shah (formerly Brewster Road), Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Established as a Roman Catholic foundation in 1907, it is one of the oldest schools in Ipoh and is widely known as Main Convent Ipoh. Owned by the religious order the Sisters of the Holy Infant Jesus (IJS), SMK Main convent was formally a private missionary school and is one of around twenty convent secondary schools in Malaysia.

Kg. Paloh Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Located at Jalan Datoh, it was built in 1912 by Wan Muhammad Saleh, superintendent of Penghulus and assistant collector of Land Revenue during the Frank Swettenham administration.
