Bengali-language romance films

Golui (Bengali: গলুই) is a 2022 Bangladeshi periodical romantic film directed by SA Haque Alik and co-produced by Khorshed Alam Khosru. It has been made on the basis of the traditional boat race of rural Bengal and the life of the people of a vast village. The film stars Shakib Khan, Puja Cherry, Azizul Hakim and Suchorita in the lead roles. The cast also includes Fazlur Rahman Babu, Suchorita, Ali Raj, Jhuna Chowdhury, Somu Chowdhury in supporting roles.

Tumi Ashbe Bole (transl. As You Will Come) is a 2021 Bengali romantic film directed by Sujit Mondal. The film is produced by Nispal Singh under the banner of Surinder Films, and stars Bonny Sengupta, and Koushani Mukherjee in lead roles. The film was released on 22 January 2021.

Highway is an Indian Bengali romantic film, directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyay and produced under the banner of Surinder Films. The film features actors Koel Mallick and Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead roles. Music of the film has been composed by Anupam Roy. This film was released on 8 August 2014.

Mon Mane Na is a 2008 Indian Bengali-language romance film directed by Sujit Guha. It was Dev's fourth movie altogether and his second movie with actress Koel Mallick. It was loosely based on the Hindi movie Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha which was based on the 1995 American romantic comedy movie French Kiss. It also has a few scenes from the Hindi movies Jab We Met, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin.

Datta is a 2023 Indian Bengali language film based on the novel with the same name written by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. directed by Nirmal Chakraborty. It stars Rituparna Sengupta, Saheb Chatterjee, Joy Sengupta, Biswajit Chakraborty, and Devlina Kumar. The music was composed by Joy Sarkar. It was theatrically released on 16 June 2023.

Premer Somadhi is a 1996 Bengali-language Bangladeshi romantic drama film. The story, screenplay, and dialogues were written by Delwar Jahan Jhantu and directed by Iftekhar Jahan. It was produced by Ataur Rahman Tunu under the banner of Bashundhara Films. It stars Bapparaj, Shabnaz, and Amit Hasan in the lead roles. It was unofficially remade in Tollywood in 1997 as Bakul Priya.

Jole Jwole Tara (transl. Stars Shine on Water) is a 2025 Bengali-language Bangladeshi romantic drama film. Directed by Arun Chowdhury under the banner of Anonno Srishti Production with government funding, the film is inspired by Syed Waliullah's short story Keraya. Iffat Arefin Mahmud solely wrote the story, co-wrote the screenplay with Arun Chowdhury and collaborated with Anonno Protikk Chowdhury on the dialogues. The lead roles are played by Rafiath Rashid Mithila, FS Nayeem and Fazlur Rahman Babu.
