Beaches of South Korea

The Gwangalli Beach (Korean: 광안리 해수욕장) or Gwangan Beach is a beach in Gwangan 2(i)-dong, Suyeong District, Busan, South Korea. It is west of Haeundae Beach. It sits inside a cove spanned by the Gwangan Bridge and covers 82,000 square meters over a length of 1.4 km and a width of 25 to 110 metres, in a curved in a half-moon shape with fine sand. Adjacent are alleys with restaurants, coffee shops and nightclubs. Because of its popularity, city officials are pushing for improving water quality around the beaches.

Haeundae Beach (Korean: 해운대해수욕장) is an urban beach in Busan, South Korea, located in the eponymous Haeundae District.

Jungmun Saekdal Beach (Korean: 중문색달해수욕장) is a beach in Saekdal-dong, Seogwipo, Jeju Province, South Korea. The beach is 560 metres (1,840 ft) long and 50 metres (160 ft) wide, and the sand features a variety of colors, including black, white, red, and gray.

Ungcheon Beach Park (Korean: 웅천친수공원; Hanja: 熊川親水公園) is a beach and park in Ungcheon-dong, Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. It is a beach next to Gamak Bay. The beach was first opened in March 2010, and has an area of 23,534 square meters (253,320 sq ft). The beach is 360 m (1,180 ft). Entrance to the park and use of the parking lot is free.

Songdo Beach is a man-made beach in Busan, South Korea. It was created in 1913. The name "Songdo" (the Island of Pines) was given due to the thick pine forest covering the island.
