Beaches of Norway

Vesterøya (lit. 'West Island') a peninsula in Sandefjord Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is one of two long, narrow peninsulas located south of the city of Sandefjord. The peninsula lies between the Mefjorden and Sandefjordsfjorden and it sits across the fjord from the Østerøya peninsula. The peninsula is primarily known for its many beaches and idyllic coastal landscape, but there are also numerous trails used for hiking and biking.

Øysand or Øysanden is a small village area in the northern part of Melhus Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village sits on the south side of the mouth of the Gaula River, at the head of the Gaulosen, an arm off the main Trondheim Fjord.

The Rosfjord or Rosfjorden is a fjord in Lyngdal municipality in Agder county, Norway. The 12-kilometre (7.5 mi) long fjord runs from the town of Lyngdal to the North Sea in the south. The Austad peninsula lies on the east side of the fjord, with the village of Austad near the shoreline. The area surrounding the fjord was once part of the municipality of Austad from 1909 until its dissolution in 1963.

Bleik is a fishing village in Andøy Municipality in Nordland county, Norway.The village is located on the northwestern part of the island of Andøya, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) southwest of the village of Andenes.

Solastranda or Solastranden (English: The Sola Beach) is a 2.3-kilometer (1.4 mi) long sandy beach in Norway, located 2-kilometer (1.2 mi) from Stavanger Airport, Sola and 15-kilometer (9.3 mi) from Stavanger. The beach is a popular beach for swimming and sunbathing in the summer. Windsurfing and surfing are popular all-year-round activities at Solastranden.

Hove is a largely beach area on the island of Tromøy in the municipality of Arendal in Aust-Agder county, Norway.

Åros is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located along the river Søgneelva between the village of Høllen to the west and Langenes to the east. The west side of Åros reaches the Høllefjorden. Åros Feriesenter is a large recreational area along the fjord. It includes a camping facility and a beach area that is a popular attraction in the summer for residents and tourists alike. Årosskogen is the main residential neighborhood in the village.

Møllebukta (Mill Bay) is a small bay with a sandy beach in the inner part of the Hafrsfjorden in the borough of Madla in the city of Stavanger in the southwestern part of the large Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is named after the Møllebekken creek which flows into the bay on the west side of the beach area. The area historically was utilized for running a corn mill. A park was established in the bay in the 18th century. The beach has a length of about 100 metres (330 ft) and it is popular for swimming and sunbathing.

Rishavn is a beach on Korsneset just outside Krokeide in the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The beach is mostly used by naturists.

Kollevågen (Norwegian: Kollevåg friluftsområde) is a recreational area in Askøy Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The park sits on the western side of the island of Askøy, about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northwest of the city of Bergen. The area includes both "clothed" beaches and naturist beaches. Kollevågen also has an arena where the Lost Weekend music festival is held each August.
