Paris Basket Racing, or PBR, was a French professional basketball club from Paris. It was founded in 1922, as the basketball section of the multi-sports club Racing Club de Paris. The team took the name "Paris Basket Racing" in 2000. In 2007, the club merged with another club from the Paris area, Levallois Sporting Club Basket, to form the current version of the club, known first as Paris-Levallois Basket, and later as Levallois Metropolitans and Metropolitans 92.

The Indiana Alley Cats was a member of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). They were based in Anderson, Indiana and played at Anderson High School Wigwam. The team was part of the American Basketball Association.

The Oklahoma Storm was a United States Basketball League (USBL) team in Enid, Oklahoma. Founded by sports agent and attorney James Sears Bryant, the Storm successfully captured the USBL championship under head coach Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 2002, defeating Kansas with a final score of 122–109. The team played its home games at Mark Price Arena and the Chisholm Trail Expo Center. The Oklahoma Storm disbanded following the 2007 season when the USBL dissolved.

The Charlotte Sting was a Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) franchise based in Charlotte, North Carolina and it was one of the league's eight original teams. The team folded on January 3, 2007.

The New Jersey Meteors were a United States Basketball League team located in Monmouth, New Jersey. The Meteors were originally scheduled as the Boston Freedom but moved to New Jersey before the start of the season.

The Solent Stars were a basketball club from Southampton, who were one of the founder members of the British Basketball League, where they competed from 1987 to 1990. For the rest of their existence, the club competed in the English Basketball League and its forerunner the National Basketball League, and the club were members of Division 1 at the time of the club's demise.

The Dodge City Legend was a professional basketball franchise located in Dodge City, Kansas in the United States Basketball League, a minor league that played in the spring. The Legend won three USBL titles, in 2000, its first season, 2003 and in 2005.

The Southern California Legends, known commonly as the SoCal Legends, were a team in the Continental Basketball Association.

The Eugene Chargers were a team in the International Basketball League based in Eugene, Oregon. The team was coached by Kenya Wilkins and played home games at Northwest Christian University's Morse Events Center. Founded in 2006, the team did not compete in the 2008 IBL season.
