Basketball in the Philippines

The Northern Cement basketball team (popularly known as, the NCC basketball team) refers to the team that represented the national basketball program and training pool for the Philippines men's national basketball team from 1980 to 1986. The team was owned by businessman Eduardo "Danding" Cojuangco, Jr. under the banner of Northern Cement Corporation (NCC).

The Filipino Basketball League, also known as Filbasket, is a professional basketball league in the Philippines founded in 2021. Its first season was launched on October 28, 2021, featuring eleven basketball teams and ran for a period of 26 days, with AICC Manila clinching the league title.

The Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup, also known as GlobalPort Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup due to sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball league in the Philippines. The league comprises teams from the Visayas and Mindanao regions of the Philippines. The league is the first basketball league to be based in the Visayas–Mindanao region since the Mindanao Visayas Basketball Association (MVBA), which merged with the National Basketball Conference in 2008 to form Liga Pilipinas, which folded in 2011.
