Anthony Carter (born 30 March 1948), better known as Mighty Gabby or simply Gabby, is a Barbadian calypsonian and folk singer, and a Cultural Ambassador for the island of Barbados.

Born Dalton Sinclair Bishop in Chapman Lane, Bridgetown, Barbados on 27 August 1937, Jackie Opel was a popular singer who possessed a rich, powerful voice with a high octave range. He was known as the "Jackie Wilson of Jamaica" and was also a gifted dancer.

Jaicko is a Bajan contemporary pop music singer-songwriter signed to Capitol Records. Born Jaicko Lawrence on 6 August 1991 in Christ Church, Barbados, Jaicko has been nominated for six Barbados Music Awards, including Best Pop Single, Pop/R&B Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year in 2008. His debut single was called "Oh Yeah", produced by the Stereotypes, and reached #2 on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles. It was written by Lil Eddie, Tiwa Savage and Kamaria Ousley. The remix version featuring Snoop Dogg reached #77 on the Canadian Hot 100.

Hal Alexander Linton, (born December 25, 1986) is a Barbadian born Soul/R&B singer, songwriter and producer. In October 2008 news broke in the small Caribbean island of Barbados that Hal Linton inked a million dollar deal with major record label Universal Motown, following in the footsteps of other Barbadian international recording artist Rihanna (Def Jam Recordings), Shontelle (Universal Motown), Livvi Franc (Jive Records) and Rupee (Atlantic).

Grynner (born MacDonald Blenman on 10 February 1946), is a popular calypsonian from Barbados. Like his compatriot Mighty Gabby, his songs often feature political and social commentary. He has been named the Barbados Crop Over Road March "Tune of the Crop" winner seven times (1983–85, 1988–90, and 1998).
