Ubaidul Haq (Bengali: উবায়দুল হক 2 May 1928- 6 October 2007), also spelt Obaidul Haq (Bengali: ওবাইবদুল হক), is a Bangladeshi teacher, muhaddith, mufassir and writer. He was the former khatib of the national mosque of Bangladesh.

Ajmal Masroor (Bengali: আজমল মাসরুর; born 19 October 1971) is a Bangladeshi-born British Imam, broadcaster and politician. He is well known for being a television presenter on political discussions and on Muslim channels.

Abu Zafar Mohammad Saleh (Bengali: আবু জাফর মোহাম্মদ সালেহ; 1915 – 13 February 1990), popularly known as the Pir of Sarsina, was a Bangladeshi Islamic scholar. He was said to have contributed to the establishment of 3000 educational institutions. Saleh had also pushed for the establishment of the Islamic Arabic University and ibtedayi madrasas in Bangladesh. Despite being a recipient of the Independence Day Award, he has been accused of collaborating with the Pakistan Army and committing war crimes during the Bangladesh Liberation war.

Fahimul Anam (Bengali: ফাহিমউল আনাম; born 22 December 1972) is a Bangladeshi-born British Islamic scholar, teacher and founding director of the Beacon Institute.

Muhammed Abu Sayed Ansarey (Bengali: মুহাম্মদ আবু সাইয়িদ আনসারী; born 26 December 1978) is a Bangladeshi-born British lawyer, television presenter, and Chairman and Imam of West London Mosque.

Mufti Sayed Muhammd Amimul Ehasan Barkati (Arabic: مفتى سيد محمد عميم الاحسان بركتى‎) (বাংলা: মুফতী সাইয়্যেদ মুহাম্মাদ আমীমুল ইহসান বারকাতী ) (Urdu: مفتى سيد محمد عميم الاحسان بركتى‎) better known as Mufti Amimul Ehasan, (মুফতী আমীমুল ইহসান) was a renowned Islamic scholar. He is also recognized for his knowledge in fiqh, hadith, and tafsir. He has authored a large number of books in Arabic, Urdu. He has also prepared the time table of 5 waqt salat (Prayer time table) for Bangladesh. He has also served as grand mufti in Calcutta formerly known as West Bengal.

Muhammad Abdul Malek (born 29 August 1969) is a Bangladeshi scholar specializing in hadith and a jurist in the Hanafi tradition, currently serving as the Khatib at Baitul Mukarram, the National Mosque of Bangladesh. He has established a reputation for his research efforts, having studied advanced hadith for three years under Abdur Rashid Nomani and two years of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) under Taqi Usmani, followed by two and a half years of research in hadith in Saudi Arabia under Abd al-Fattah Abu Ghudda. In 1998, he published Al-Madkhal ila Ulum al-Hadith al-Sharif, which has been adopted as a textbook in several countries. Malek is a co-founder of Markazud Dawah Al Islamia, established in 1996, where he serves as education secretary and heads the Higher Hadith Department. He oversaw the publication of Al Kawsar, a monthly periodical launched in 2005 that acts as the institution's official publication. Additionally, he was nominated as a member of the Bangladesh Qawmi Madrasa Education Commission in 2012 and is affiliated with the Islamic Fiqh Academy.
