Awards established in 2013

The Judith A. Markowitz Award for Exceptional New LGBTQ Writers, formerly known as the Dr. Betty Berzon Emerging Writer Award and established in 2013, is an annual literary award presented by the Lambda Literary Foundation. The award is granted to "LGBTQ-identified writers whose work demonstrates their strong potential for promising careers." The writers must "have published at least one but no more than two books of fiction, nonfiction or poetry." Two annual winners each receive a $2,500 cash prize.

The Asean Football Federation Player of the Year is an association football award presented to the best footballer in ASEAN region. The inaugural award was launched in 2013.

Czech Lion Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling is award given to the Czech film with best Makeup and Hairstyling.

The Wisława Szymborska Award is a Polish annual international literature prize presented by the Wisława Szymborska Foundation. It was established in 2013, and was named in honour of the Nobel Prize-winning poet Wisława Szymborska (1923–2012).

The MTV Millennial Awards (commonly abbreviated as a MIAW) is an annual program of Latin American music awards, presented by the cable channel MTV Latin America to honor the best of Latin music and the digital world of the millennial generation. The ceremony has been held in Mexico City since its first edition on July 16, 2013. In 2020 there was no ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Yook Woo dang Literary Award (Korean:육우당 문학상; hanja:六友堂文學賞) and The Yookwoodang memorial Prize, Prize of Yookwoodang is one of South Korean Literature Award and established as a memorial to Yun Hyon-seok on Dongdaemun in Seoul, April 1, 2013. Yun Hyon-seok was a South Korean Human rights activist and Gay poet, writer and critic.

The Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series is one of the annual awards given by the American professional organization, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. The Saturn Awards are the oldest film-specialized awards to reward science fiction, fantasy, and horror achievements (the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, awarded by the World Science Fiction Society who reward science fiction and fantasy in various media, is the oldest award for science fiction and fantasy films).

100 Women is a BBC multi-format series established in 2013. The annual series examines the role of women in the 21st century and has included events in London and Mexico. Announcement of the list is the start of an international "BBC's women season", lasting three weeks including broadcast, online reports, debates and journalism on the topic of women. Women around the world are encouraged to participate via Twitter and comment on the list, as well as on the interviews and debates that follow release of the list.

Hum Awards are annual Pakistani accolades bestowed by the Hum Network Limited in recognition of excellence in programming of television, fashion and music industry of Pakistan. Winners are awarded the Hum Award of Merit. The awards were first presented in 2013 at a ceremony held at the Karachi Expo Centre.

Baroda Management Association (BMA) has instituted a national level Sayaji Ratna Award in 2013 to mark the 151st birth anniversary of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, the erstwhile ruler of Baroda. BMA is an institution founded in 1957 in Vadodara and is an organization member of All India Management Association. This award is given annually to living legends of India. It recognizes the personality of the iconic character and outstanding contribution in the realms of business, sports, arts, humanity, education, governance and medicine. The jury selects a person whose life had demonstrated stellar qualities that Maharaja Sayajirao III imbibed and exhibited during his illustrious reign. The Significant among of those qualities are – Vision, Integrity, Compassion, Philanthropy, Institution building ability, Patronage of experts and Leadership that touches, inspires and uplifts all sections of the society.
