Andrew Barry Casson Gaze, AM (born 24 July 1965) is an Australian former professional basketball player and coach. He played 22 seasons in the National Basketball League (NBL) with the Melbourne Tigers from 1984 to 2005, winning the league's MVP award seven times and winning the scoring title 14 times. He also guided the Tigers to two NBL championships, in 1993 and 1997, and was named an All-NBL First Team member for a record high 15 consecutive years. Gaze has been described as one of the greatest players Australia has ever produced.

Aron John Baynes (born 9 December 1986) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for Washington State University before starting his professional career in Europe. In 2013, he joined the San Antonio Spurs, and a year later, won an NBA championship with the Spurs. He has also played with the Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, and Phoenix Suns. Baynes also plays for the Australian national team.

Mark Robert Bradtke (born 27 September 1969) is an Australian retired professional basketball player who played mainly in Australia's National Basketball League, but also had a single stint in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1996–97. As well as his outstanding play, Bradtke was known in the early part of his NBL career for his mullet haircut.

Shane Douglas Heal (born 6 September 1970) is an Australian former professional basketball player, entrepreneur, and coach.

Aleksandar Marić (Serbian Cyrillic: Александар "Алекс“ Марић, born 22 October 1984) is an Australian-Serbian former professional basketball player. Marić gained a reputation as a winner over the course of his successful European career, securing contracts with several basketball powerhouse outfits. Rising to stardom at Partizan Belgrade in 2010, he was part of a Serbian Cup and Adriatic League championship winning team, as well as an All-EuroLeague First Team member. That breakout season earned him selection to the Australian national team for the 2010 World Championships and the 2012 London Olympics. In 2019, he became an assistant coach with the Sydney Kings.

Brad Newley (born 18 February 1985) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Sydney Kings of the National Basketball League (NBL). The 199 cm small forward-shooting guard was drafted 54th overall by the Houston Rockets in the 2007 NBA draft. He was a member of the Australian Under-19 junior national team that won the gold medal at the 2003 FIBA Under-19 World Championship in Greece, where he scored 16 points against Lithuania's Under-19 team in the final.

Matthew Peter Nielsen (born 3 February 1978) is an Australian former professional basketball player who is currently an assistant coach for the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League. Between 2015 and 2019, he served as an assistant coach for the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL).

John Peter Rillie (born 4 November 1971) is an Australian basketball player and coach. Rillie previously captained the Townsville Crocodiles in the NBL but his contracted was not renewed. In his first season in the NBL, Rillie won Rookie of the Year honours playing for the Brisbane Bullets. He is known for his long range shooting. He has also played for Gonzaga University in the United States and with AEK Athens BC in Greece.
