    The Peach Drop was the annual New Year's Eve drop event held in Atlanta, Georgia. To ring in the new year, an approximately 800-pound peach, symbolizing Georgia's identity as the "Peach State," is dropped from a tower located in Underground Atlanta. The Peach Drop has not been held since 2018.

    The Atlanta International Documentary Film Festival (also called DocuFest Atlanta, Atlanta DocuFest, and DocuFest) is a film festival that screens documentary films in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Paul Mariano's Also Ran was named Best Political Documentary at the 2006 festival. Don Wilson's Mississippi Son: A Filmmaker's Journey Home was named Best Dramatic Documentary at the 2007 festival. In 2009, Roger Nygard's The Nature of Existence was screened at the festival, as was Mike Ramsdell's The Anatomy of Hate: A Dialogue for Hope, which won the Audience Choice Award that year. LGBT documentary film It Doesn’t Define Us was screened at the 2010 festival. At the 2012 festival, Christine Anthony's and Owen Masterson's Grow! won the Audience Choice Award. Decadence: Decline of the Western World was named that year's Best Foreign Documentary.

    The Virginia–Highland Tour of Homes is an annual two-day event that happens each December in the Virginia–Highland neighborhood of Atlanta. During the event, houses around the neighborhood are open to visitors. The Virginia–Highland Civic Association organizes the event.

    Boxerstock is an all-day music festival, benefiting Atlanta Boxer Rescue. Boxerstock was founded in 2008 and is held every fall in Marietta, Georgia. It features an entire day of live music from local and nationally known performers. It is a family event and although the event supports the rescue and rehabilitation of Boxers, dogs of all breeds are always welcome. The festival is put on by over 150 volunteers and attracts crowds in the thousands from all over the Southeast.

    Music Midtown is a large music festival held in Atlanta, Georgia, annually from 1994 to 2005, after which it returned in 2011 following a six-year hiatus. The festival ran consecutively from 2011-2019 with a cancellation in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival returned briefly in 2021, before a cancellation in 2022. In May 2023, it was announced that Music Midtown would return. The festival runs for one weekend each year, typically in September. The event drew in excess of 300,000 attendees per year during its peak years.

Organized by A.C.F.F., Ltd., the convention was a nonprofit entity designed to promote the fantasy genre in the American Southeast. Over its two-decade run, the AFF featured hundreds of guests, encompassed hotels in downtown Atlanta and ran thousands of hours of programming for fans of science fiction, fantasy, comic books, and other elements of fandom.

    The Children's Christmas Parade was a major Christmas parade held to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The parade started in 1981 as the Egleston Christmas Parade. It became the Children's Christmas Parade, following the 1998 merger of Egleston Children’s Hospital and Scottish Rite Children's Hospital. The Children's Christmas Parade was held on the first Saturday in December.
