Johanna represented Argentina at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant held on August 23, 2009 in Nassau, Bahamas but failed to make it as a semifinalist. Johanna is of Croat, Spanish, Italian, French, German and Syrian descent.

He is considered one of Argentina's best film directors and most enduring cultural figures as well as a popular singer-songwriter throughout Latin America.
