Argentine abortion-rights activists

María José Lubertino (born 13 October 1959) is an Argentine lawyer and politician. She has worked in different social movements, as a feminist in the women's movement and human rights organizations, among others. She began her political career in the Radical Civic Union (UCR) from 1982 until the Alliance appointed Lopez Murphy as minister, and from 2003 to the present in Espacio Abierto, that joined the Front for Victory in the 2009 election. Since November 2013, she has been a member of the National Board of the Broad Front.

Carmen María Argibay (15 June 1939 – 10 May 2014) was a member of the Argentine Supreme Court of Justice. She was the first woman to be nominated for the Court by a democratic government in Argentina, and caused some controversy upon declaring herself an atheist and a supporter of legal abortion.

Yael Damaris Oviedo (born 22 May 1992) is an Argentine former footballer who played as a forward and represented the Argentina women's national team. Her last club was Universidad de Chile.

Diana Helena Maffía (born 19 September 1953) is an Argentine academic and politician.

Luana Florencia Muñoz (born 22 January 1999) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a centre-back for Racing Club de Avellaneda and the Argentina women's national team. She transferred to Texas Tech after two seasons at Tyler Junior College.
