Thomas Cassidy (born 18 November 1950) is a former Northern Ireland international footballer who played as a midfielder.

George Richard Eastham (13 August 1914 - January 2000) was an English footballer and manager. As an inside forward, he represented England once at international level, and played for Bolton Wanderers, Brentford, Blackpool, Swansea Town, Rochdale and Lincoln City. He is the father of George Eastham Jr. and the brother of Harry Eastham.

Warren James Feeney (born 17 January 1981) is a football manager and former Northern Ireland international footballer, who is currently the manager of Bulgarian Second League side Pirin Blagoevgrad.

Isaac McCandlish McDowell was a Scottish footballer and football manager who played as an inside-right for Dunoon Athletic, Glasgow Perthshire, Airdrieonians, Dumbarton, King's Park, Cowdenbeath, Port Vale, Coleraine, Linfield, and Ards. He later managed Ards, Linfield and Glentoran.

Billy Humphries (born 8 June 1936) was a Northern Irish footballer who played in the Irish League with Glentoran and Ards, and in England with Leeds United, Coventry City and Swansea Town in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. He won 14 international cap for Northern Ireland. He also won three amateur caps for Northern Ireland and twelves caps for the Irish League representative team.

William George Leonard Graham (17 October 1925 – 30 September 2007) was a Northern Ireland international footballer and football manager. A full-back, he made 303 league appearances in a nine-year career in the Football League with Doncaster Rovers lasting most of the 1950s. He also played for Linfield Swifts, Brantwood, and Torquay United, and briefly managed Ards. He won 14 caps for Northern Ireland in the 1950s.

Colin Nixon (born 8 September 1978) is a retired footballer from Northern Ireland and former manager of Ards. Son of Alice and Hugh Nixon, Colin has a large football related family and has three children. His family are synonymous with the local game.

Bertie McMinn is a former footballer MEH of the Irish Football League. He made his debut as a 16 year old on 5-10-74.

Roy Coyle (born Robert Coyle; 31 January 1946) is a former Northern Ireland international footballer and the most successful manager in the history of the Irish Football League. He is the Director of Football at Glentoran.

Tom Adamson was a Scottish professional football left back and manager, best remembered for his time in the Football League with Brentford and Bury. He later had a short tenure as manager of Irish League side Ards.
