Natacha Rambova (born Winifred Kimball Shaughnessy, January 19, 1897 – June 5, 1966) was an American film costume designer, set designer, and occasional actress who was active in Hollywood in the 1920s. In her later life, she abandoned design to pursue other interests, specifically Egyptology, a subject on which she became a published scholar in the 1950s.

Stephen McDannell Hillenburg (August 21, 1961 – November 26, 2018) was an American animator, voice actor, and marine science educator. He is best remembered for creating the Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. Hillenburg served as the showrunner for the first three seasons of the show, which has become the fifth-longest-running American animated series.

Jack Fisk (born December 19, 1946 in Canton, Illinois) is an American production designer and director.

Austin Cedric Gibbons (March 23, 1890 – July 26, 1960) was an Irish-American art director and production designer for the film industry. He also made a significant contribution to motion picture theater architecture from the 1930s to 1950s. Gibbons designed the Oscar statuette in 1928, but tasked the sculpting to George Stanley, a Los Angeles artist. He was nominated 39 times for the Academy Award for Best Production Design and won the Oscar 11 times, both of which are records.

Robert Stromberg (born 1965) is an American special effects artist, designer and filmmaker. Stromberg's credits include films such as James Cameron's Avatar, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, and Sam Raimi's Oz the Great and Powerful, the former two earning him Academy Award wins for Best Art Direction. He made his directorial debut with the 2014 Disney film Maleficent, a re-imagining of the iconic Disney villain. DiscussingFilm reported that he joined as a production designer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Lou Romano (born April 15, 1972) is an American animator and voice actor. He did design work on Monsters, Inc. and The Incredibles, and he provided the voices of Bernie Kropp in The Incredibles, Snot Rod in Cars and Alfredo Linguini in Ratatouille.

Kenneth B. (Ken) Anderson (March 17, 1909 – December 13, 1993) was an art director and writer at Walt Disney Animation Studios for 44 years.

Christopher Gerard Ciccone (November 22, 1960 – October 4, 2024) was an American visual artist, interior decorator, and designer in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. He was the younger brother of singer Madonna.

Richard Sylbert (April 16, 1928 – March 23, 2002) was an American production designer and art director, primarily for feature films.
