Ambassadors of Tonga

Siaosi Tuʻihala ʻAlipate Vaea Tupou (15 May 1921 – 7 June 2009), more commonly known as Baron Vaea, was a Tongan politician who served as Prime Minister of Tonga. Vaea was a nephew of Queen Sālote, who ruled Tonga from 1918 until 1965, and a member of the Tongan nobility. His career in the Tongan government spanned 54 years.

Sione Ngongo Kioa (born 14 April 1959) is a Tongan diplomat and is the High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Tonga to the United Kingdom. He is also concurrently accredited as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tonga to the Russian Federation, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, and the European Union.

Fekitamoeloa Katoa ‘Utoikamanu (born December 1959) is a Tongan diplomat and the United Nations High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States. Prior to her appointment on 12 April 2017 by United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, she was Chief Executive Officer of Tonga’s Ministry of Tourism.

Sonatane Tu'akinamolahi Taumopeau Tupou, Lord Taumoepeau-Tupou of Toula and Kotu (born 14 March 1943, in Nukuʻalofa, died 13 August 2013) was a diplomat from the Kingdom of Tonga. Lord Taumoepeau-Tupou had been the Foreign Minister of Tonga since 24 August 2004, though his appointment was not announced until 2 September 2004. He had also been Minister of Defense since April 2005 till his death.
