Mary Bonneau "Bonnie" McElveen-Hunter (born June 29, 1950) is an American businesswoman, philanthropist, and diplomat who is the first female Chair of the Board of Governors of the American Red Cross. She is the founder and CEO of Pace Communications, a content and integrated marketing agency, and was the U.S. Ambassador to Finland from 2001 to 2003. She served as the finance chairwoman of Elizabeth Dole's campaign for the Republican nomination for U.S. president. She also started the first billion dollar women's leadership campaign in America for the United Way.

Frederick Valdemar Erastus Peterson (July 18, 1903 – October 17, 1983), also known as Val Peterson, was an American politician who served as the 26th Governor of Nebraska from 1947 to 1953; as director of the Federal Civil Defense Administration from 1953–1957; as U.S. ambassador to Denmark 1957–1961; and as U.S. Ambassador to Finland, 1969–1973.

Avra Milvin Warren (August 26, 1893 – January 23, 1957) served as the United States Ambassador to four countries and minister to three (although he served as Minister and later Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, so only six countries total).

Bernard Anthony Gufler (1 June 1903 – 6 September 1973) was a distinguished American diplomat and member of the United States Foreign Service. In a long career he served in many postings abroad, and remained US ambassador to Ceylon and Finland.

Charles C. Adams Jr. (born August 25, 1947) is the former United States Ambassador to Finland.

Bruce J. Oreck (born January 3, 1953) is a former American politician. He was the U.S. Ambassador to Finland from September 2009 to July 2015.
