Ambassadors of Spain to the Kingdom of England

Catherine of Aragon (also spelt as Katherine, Spanish: Catalina; 16 December 1485 – 7 January 1536) was Queen of England as the first wife of King Henry VIII from their marriage on 11 June 1509 until their annulment on 23 May 1533. She was previously Princess of Wales as the wife of Henry's elder brother, Arthur, Prince of Wales.

Eustace Chapuys (c. 1489/90/92 – 21 January 1556),, the son of Louis and Guigonne Dupuys, was a Savoyard diplomat who served Charles V as Imperial ambassador to England from 1529 until 1545 and is best known for his extensive and detailed correspondence.

Guerau de Espés del Valle (1524 in Lleida – 1572) was a Spanish nobleman and diplomat. He served as Philip II of Spain's ambassador to Elizabeth I of England from 1568 to 1571 during one of the tensest moments in Anglo-Spanish relations and was expelled after being accused of complicity of the Ridolfi plot. He was a knight of the Order of Calatrava. He also appeared as a character in the 2007 film Elizabeth: The Golden Age, played by the British actor Will Houston.

Simon Renard, Sieur of Bermont and Lieutenant of Aumont or Amont, (1513- 8 August 1573) was a Burgundian diplomat who served as an advisor to Emperor Charles V and his son Philip II of Spain, who were also counts of Burgundy. Renard had the court appointment of Master of Requests in Ordinary of the Emperor's household. He was ambassador of Spain in France and England. As ambassador to England he acquired an extraordinary degree of influence over Mary I of England, and until her marriage to Philip, which he promoted, he was thought by many to be controlling the English Government.

François van der Delft (c. 1500 – 21 June 1550) was Imperial ambassador to the court of Henry VIII of England from 1545 to 1547, and ambassador to the court of Edward VI of England from 1547 to 1550.

Íñigo Vélez de Guevara (1597–1658), 8th Count of Oñate [1], was a Spanish political figure.

Antonio de Guarás (1520–1579), was a Spanish merchant who was the ambassador of Philip II of Spain to Elizabeth I of England between 1571 and 1578.

Jean or Jehan Scheyfve (c.– 13 July 1581), Lord of Sint-Agatha-Rode, was Chancellor of Brabant, head of the civilian administration of the Duchy of Brabant, from 1557 to 1579. He had earlier served as the ambassador of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, to the English court (May 1550 to October 1553).

John III, Lord of Bergen op Zoom or John III of Glymes (1452 – 1532, in Brussels) was a noble from the Low Countries.

Álvaro de la Quadra (Naples, 1500-1510 – London, 1564) was a Spanish churchman and diplomat. He was Prelate and Ambassador to England during Elizabeth I of England reign. He was also Bishop of Venosa and of L'Aquila, and attended the Council of Trent.
