    Sir Ti-liang Yang, GBM (Chinese: 楊鐵樑; 30 June 1929 – 24 June 2023) was a senior Hong Kong judge. He was the Chief Justice of Hong Kong from 1988–1996, the only ethnic Chinese person to hold this office during British colonial rule.

He was elected to the United States Senate in the November 8, 2016, general election, succeeding retiring Republican Dan Coats. From 2019 to 2021, he served as the chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Young was reelected in 2022.

He was previously the Minister of Culture and Heritage, and Minister of Knowledge and Human Talent. Long later became Ecuador's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, before resigning in January 2018 over strong disagreements with President Moreno.

She is Professor of Politics at the University of York. She was born and grew up in Denmark, spent several years in Latin America and later settled in Britain, and is a dual Danish-British citizen. She is co-editor-in-chief of the academic journal Basic Income Studies. Since 2011, she has been Co-Chair, chair, and now Chair Emeritus of the Basic Income Earth Network. She is a former trustee and now patron of the Citizens’ Income Trust in the UK and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
