4th Street Feeling is the twelfth studio album by American rock/pop musician Melissa Etheridge, released on September 4, 2012 by Island Records, produced by Jacquire King and Steve Booker, with all tracks co-produced by Etheridge. The album was recorded at the "House Of Blues Studio" in Encino, CA. It features twelve tracks on the standard release and three bonus tracks on the deluxe edition.

Rockferry is the debut studio album by Welsh singer Duffy, released on 3 March 2008 in the United Kingdom by A&M Records. It was released in the United States by Mercury Records. Duffy worked with several producers and writers on the album, including Bernard Butler, Steve Booker, Jimmy Hogarth and Eg White. The album took four years to record in total.

Velvet (stylized in all caps) is the fourth studio album by American singer Adam Lambert, released through More Is More and Empire Distribution on March 20, 2020. It features the singles "Feel Something", "New Eyes", "Comin in Hot", "Superpower", and "Roses" with Nile Rodgers, as well as all the tracks featured on the Velvet: Side A EP, released in September 2019. Lambert was scheduled to promote the album with five appearances at the Venetian Las Vegas on April 18, 19, 22, 24 and 25 (postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic) before embarking on a European tour from August to September 2020.

The film score for Sex and the City was composed by Aaron Zigman and recorded with a large ensemble of the Hollywood Studio Symphony at the Newman Stage at 20th Century Fox in April 2008. Recording sessions include: London, Los Angeles and Sweden. Eg White, who has worked with Adele and Duffy, serves as a major collaborator. Additional producers and songwriters include Steve Booker, Fraser T Smith, Xenomania, Paul Barry and Mark Taylor. Ferguson later revealed that she would be co-writing the whole of her album in order for her to "connect" with the songs. The main genre from the album features genres like soul, pop, blues and R&B. The lyrical content of the album mainly explores the subjects of betrayal, friendship and love found, lost and unrequited. The album's music was compared to Macy Gray, Aretha Franklin, Adele, Joss Stone and Duffy. Ferguson also wished to record with Franklin on the album. The album's title Heaven came around as Ferguson said she was in "heaven" while recording the album.
