    The Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine is a quarterly peer-reviewed medical journal covering evidence-based medicine. It was established in 2008 and is published by John Wiley & Sons on behalf of the Chinese Cochrane Centre, of which it is the official English-language journal. It grew out of a decade of work by editors of the Chinese Journal of Evidence Based Medicine to create a new journal with a global audience. The editors-in-chief are You-Ping Li (West China Medical Center) and Mike Clarke (Queen’s University Belfast). According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2021 impact factor of 6.224, ranking it 33rd out of 172 journals in the category "Medicine, General & Internal".

In the opening editorial, founding editor-in-chief Neil Levy described the journal as focusing on both "ethical reflection on new technologies and techniques produced by neuroscience (and other sciences of the mind)" and "the ways in which the new knowledge emerging from the sciences of the mind illuminates traditional philosophical topics."

    The Journal of Acupuncture and Meridian Studies is a bimonthly medical journal covering research related to acupuncture, the meridian system (a concept in traditional Chinese medicine for which no evidence exists that supports its existence), and related treatments. It was established in 2008 and is published by Elsevier on behalf of the Medical Association of Pharmacopuncture Institute. The editors-in-chief are Pan Dong Ryu and Kwang-Sup Soh (Seoul National University). In an opinion piece for Forbes on journals about pseudoscience published by reputable publishers, Steven Salzberg listed this journal as one of the examples of a "fake medical journal", and his critique was repeated in an article written for Monthly Index of Medical Specialities exploring whether acupuncture was a medical sham or genuine treatment.

    IJFAB: International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal providing a forum in bioethics for feminist thought and debate. The journal (pronounced "I-Jay-Fab") is a publication of the International Network on Feminist Approaches to Bioethics. Mary Rawlinson (of Stony Brook University) was its inaugural editor (2006) and served in that capacity until she stepped down in 2016. She was replaced by a team of editors including Robyn Bluhm, Hilde Lindemann, Jamie Lindemann Nelson (all of Michigan State University) and Jackie Leach Scully (of Newcastle University). Kate Caras as an employee of Indiana University Press was the journal's publisher from 2006 to 2014. She then transitioned to the position of senior managing editor when production was taken over by the University of Toronto Press in 2014.
